@DrRobert501 It's a "screamer" zombie. Their only programming in the game is stand there and scream, calling other zombies to their location. Even when the summoned zombies are killed, the screamer won't stop screaming, not even to attack you. It's a rather bad design choice.

Well future might be peacefull, so no weapons. Or it would better survival with lasers and shit, and better barricaded roads.

Past, would be good with castles, wich have water around them to avoid people getting in, but you couldn't barricade roads or city's (unless they have walls). guns is a really important factor since your quit easily overrun with an european broadsword (japan would be best past country though)

btw the ammount of blunt objects in those ages are better then those of the present. Yet shotguns are really good for zombies, especially the spas 12 guage, wich can shoot pretty fast.

Civil War could be tricky since both sides will probably atack eachother anyways. there is too much distraction to react on zombies and therefore a complete suprise and you won't have enough time to barricade.

present, modern city's are hard to barricade sometimes. US has allot of weapons, yet they are too busy with the middle east. 3d world country's would have a real hard time, cause zombies do get food.Those people don't have the energy and the supply's(weopponsfood) to survive an invasion.

In the past, people were more isolated, so breakouts wouldn't be as bad. (take the films for example, where farm areas had an easier time of it than major cities. The future would probably have more technology, so maybe they could do better at containment, or even find a cure. Civil war would definitely be hard, since so many people died. Present, same thing, but maybe easier.

whenever it saw you it ran away to a safe spot and let out a scream and then a horde will spawn

but then they changed the boomers attack of exploding and hit survivors to explode and cover survivors into vomit and the horde will attack only that person but after that the screamer became useless so they removed it
