ok i love coldplay....but seriously this performance just sucked! chris martin, whatever he was trying to do, totally screwed up the song.....whether he was trying to make it sound different or freaked out, he screwed it up. BAD. he should have just sticked to the old tune.

Coldplay aren't at their best on TV shows or at award shows, because they get really nervous and start to freak out.

They are much better at their regular gigs, because they're more comfortable and confident.

When he improvises every line like that it just takes away the flow of the song and the vocal rhythm just doesn't fit with the syncopated structure. I like it the same because the released version is much better.

Chris was just so tired! I imagine that he's back from his tour. I love his voice and he's the best! It was just amazing to watch him singing with his tired voice! Shame at english people who had undervalued his talent! I admire him and I wish for him the best.
