Arrest him! That is the process of Justice. Just like the police have no right to attack thousands of peaceful protesters. They can arrest us one by one however cannot detain us and then beat us. This needs to stop. Be sure to discuss the law wih your local beat officers. They may not be so facist in smaller groups

This officer should be named and shamed then sacked. that would send out the perfect mesage, that police officers need to remember that they uphold the law not make it. remember that they serve the people we dont serve them and that a little compassion goes a long way becuase if the officers had listened to the man he was only trying to get home.

It happend to me and someone i know on seperate demos in london so is not unusual.

First one i was pulled down by my hair from behind to the floor then jumped on, no legal observers around, second me and the person i know were walking temporerily off the pavement at a mayday demo a senior copper came up behind and shoved this person to the ground, he could off hit his head into a wall then the copper ran back across the road to his mates, we came across a legal observer and he said we cant do

Very true - the cops at this and other demo's just don't care about upholding human rights or the law. They are always intimidating, aggressive, and violent regardless of the peaceful nature of the demonstrators. My mate was with me on an anti-war demo a few years ago and as a police line formed behind him he was shoved quite hard in the back tho he was just standing around with his hands in his pockets. No warning was given or request to move made.
