  • nice fantastic

  • @harmony657 Truly fantastic! Thanks for watching and commenting! XD ♥

  • I heard Ice Cube in a movie say Toof instead of tooth and Wif instead of With. Come on Black people-learn how to speak correctly. Listen and learn from Lester Holt on The Today Show or Oprah Winfrey or Bill Cosby or go back to school and learn how to talk.

  • Perfect pitch and enunciation. Young singers, listen to how Sam pronounces the word "ask' correctly. It is not correctly pronounced "ax' -there is a 's" in the word. Singers just slow down when pronouncing the word 'ask' and articulate the "s' in the word. Also listen to Sam singing 'without you" in this song and not 'without choo' which I hear so commonly today. These are just a couple of reasons why this man is extolled and the greatest singer of all time. Study,Listen, and Practice.

  • @MJRookieRook Thanks for the comment. Any Cooke fan is a good person to know.

  • @carlanthony62 Very true, and thank you again!!

  • @carlanthony62 are you serious? what are you an English professor or is this just a pet-peeve?

  • @LDYize I'm completely serious and I don't expect you to understand. The days of Sam Cooke and Ella Fitzgerald correctly enunciating are long gone. God Bless.

  • Such a fantastic voice...he's missed.

  • @indure08 Lol thanks for the comment !

  • I was born in the 1970's, but the children my age thought I was a lot older because these are the songs by Sam Cooke that I loved, and I remember this helping me through my teenage years. In the mid to late 1980's our group called the DDT's were the last group that truly kept this sound alive. We competed against " Boys To Men " at the Uptown Theatre, and placed first over them singing another golden oldie called " In The Still Of The Night " by Dion & The Belmonts. later they recorded it
