Atlas Trains released an HO model of the newly-painted 405. It won't be released til May of '11

@RailsandRoads They are the original horns. One of the 3 now has the S3K that 405 is wearing in this video. Currently 405 sports a Nathan P-2 commuter horn.

405 is almost like a museum on wheels. It's showing the paint schemes of ALL of it's former owners. Lehigh Valley both maroon and grey scheems, Delaware and Hudson and Indiana Harbor Belt. I love 405 they way it looks. Check it out in "Dateline D&H" if you ever get a chance.

The DL is the ONLY place in the world where you can see 3 ex-D&H RS3s all running together in revenue service; painted in a D&H (with DL lettering) scheme like they woulda had when in service on the D&H.

maybe you can get a portable spot light and shine it of the train as it passes by.

Try to be near a crossing...car headlights help a bit. Also look for a street light near the tracks...that's what I've done.
