well to not knock ur intellegent level the key board gets bigger if you rotate it no one who owns them tries to type that way turn it long ways like a psp and now they run the android 2.2.1 version not 1.6 any more an if you guys watching this you will notice how fast he tried to turn the music off cause it has one of the best stock speaker that ive come across in phone for load speaker out put

I like mine and mine is responsive on the keypad, the only thing wrong with it is the headphone jack, it sounds moffled but if u pull it out and put it back in then it works. But other than that its a goood phone

I bought the newer version android 2.2, it works awesome the browser is fast and the display is very good.

One complaint that I have is that my gallery freezes most of the times and doesn't allow me to look at my pictures and videos. The GPS just doesn't work it freezes my phone and the only way to fix it is by removing the battery.

Has this happened to anyone else or am I alone in this??

battery life DOES SUCK on this phone. if you plan to use this phone all day and text, watch videos and play games, this phone probably isnt for you. the most you can use this phone straight is probably about 3-4 hours, if even that much. i suggest downloading an app for better battery life, but it still doesnt do that much to help, tbh.

I hate the camera on button because its in a position where its easily activated when you dont want it. If you hold the phone upright your palm between your finger and thumb will press the button if you hold the phone too tight. Otherwise OK and the keyboard not so hott. I agree your thumb not so good ALSO download automatic task killer for maximum battery life.

Hi there! I am not used to the Android type of cell phone at all. lol I have the Samsung Messenger 450 from Straight Talk right now and I am absolutely not happy with that carrier at all! Going back to Cricket finally. I am wanting to know if I will see a big change in the Keyocera Zio when I get it? What will be some of the advantages and disadvantages before I even purchase it? Also I seen that nativemuscle said something about having it upgraded at the store??

@nativemuscle at the moment, the phone is only able to upgrade from 1.6 to 2.2 (to stay on warranty) you CAN upgrade an android phone to 3.1, but it would cancel out the warranty and it would be very hard to return it to 1.6 OS... but if you buy the phone like now, im pretty sure they will upgrade it at the store.

Battery life is tremendous??!! LOL. Did you use this handset for more than the review? The battery only lasts at MAX 2 hours during processor intensive tasks. Angry birds?? 4get it. 1 hour and the battery drops from full charge to 20%. I'm so glad I tossed this POS phone after only a week.

I have Pandora on my Cricket Sanyo Zio as well, and Pandora will NOT play without a wifi connection... Not sure if it's something I did or if Cricket throttled down my speed, though.

yeah, but there's no way to sink this phone to a pc via usb connector? not even an sd card, so u can store data on it besides using it to call and use Goodgle? how bout an ethernet port in case the wifi fails? i do like the screen size. i may have to wait & c if I can buy similar sized phone from eBay but one that allowes you to go prepaid without having to commit to a pain - in - the - ass data plan and 2 year contract

I had this phone, only was able to stand it about 3 months before switching to a Motorola Atrix 4G through AT&T. Problems with the phone, usually freezes at least once per 24 hour period in which you have to take out the battery and put it back in; also VERY SLOW. I ordered this handset along with another friend of mine, he had the exact same issues as well.

@poisoncupcake74k you need a wireless connection and set camera to take videos to post to YouTube it's in camcorder settings and once on YouTube setting make video of what ever (new froyo update out a while ago u can have better vids for YouTube) go to ur gallery (square at top right) click video hit share click YouTube ,make sure ur signed in obviously, and then put CID name description tags to what ever floats ur boat and hit the upload button. It usually takes a while it took me 20-30 min to
