"THE ALASKANS", a sort of "Klondike" version of Warner's popular "77 SUNSET STRIP", aired during the 1959-'60 season on ABC. When it ended, Roger Moore moved on to replace James Garner {as "Beau Maverick"} on "MAVERICK", and Dorothy Provine became "Pinky Pinkham" on "THE ROARING '20s".
