  • supermoto race on a dirt road.. Amazing!! must be like riding in the snow and drift in every corner :p

  • Ducati,Italian proud as usual rules everywhere in the world

  • u can go faster...

  • is it me or they go really slow? and isnt all about drift on dirt?

  • if you were driving this. i didnt read info.

what top speed did you reach? if you remember though.

  • AWESOME

  • graet biker

  • I am so jealous....

    Nice ride m8.

    Thanks for sharing!!!

  • WELL DONE! XD

I am curious as to what some of the other bikes were?... and did you place 3rd?

Also if all of them were motard?.. I assume they are. Nice job on the video. *Thumbs up*

  • Thanks. In the 1200cc class there were BMW Hp2 in supermoto trim, Buell's with Joe Kopp and former champion Brian Anderson riding, and the KTM of rider Glenn Cox. I won the 1200cc class and finished 4th overall to my brother on his Yamaha 450 supermoto bike and Mikey Dymond and Davey Durelle on a Husky and Aprilla in the 750cc supermoto class. All the bikes running at the top were supermoto set ups. The bigger bikes are harder to run in the dirt which makes up about 50% of the course.

  • wow

  • Thats great. There will be a few superdukes, Bmw hp2, bmw megamotos, 990 adventures and Buell TT,s racing against me at the race. I am really happy with the hypermotard. It amazes me how well this bike can be backed into a corner. Where do you live? Is there alot of good riding there?

  • Hi. I'm in Hong Kong. There is a bit of good riding out here but not that much. You do what you can. The Hyperduc is perfect here. No need to worry about fuel range or the hard seat. Let me know how you go at PP

  • Great video. Excellent job in getting the Hyper up there so quickly

  • Thanks for the nice message, it is a really enjoyable motorcycle to ride. Do you have a super duke?

  • I use to have a Superduke. Traded it for a Hypermotard. No regrets at all. It's my first Ducati and I'm enjoying every ride I have on it Looks like you guys are as well

  • New cam, Terminoni pipe, slipper clutch. Race Tech did the suspension. We softened up the valving to help get a little more grip in the dirt. But yes it is stock for the most part, and the stuff we changed has been all aftermarket parts from Ducati.

  • Okay.. Thanks for the info...

Have you done other modifications to bike than the tires.. Sounds pretty stock ?

Looks like a Race-Tec sticker on the fork ? Other springs ?

  • I rode with road racing rain tires. Because the race is about 50% dirt and 50 % asphalt you have to make a compromise on tires. A dirt tire would give up to much on the fast asphalt section, and a slick is tough on the dirt. You are going to love that bike, tons of fun!

  • Did you ride the Hyper one the stock Pirellis or was it with dirt tires.. ?

I live in Denmark, Europe.. Im looking forward to get my hyper within the next couple of months.

    Regards

  • Hehe.. You have some trouble keeping up with those motards :-) Well, the hyper is not for those conditions, but it does it very well...

I just love the bike.. !

  • Thanks for checking this video out. The three bikes I was chasing were the Aprilla team rider Davey Durelle, and KTM mounted Gary Trachy and Jeff Grace all champions at Pikes Peak. I was absolutely amazed by what the Hyper would do in the dirt. The race is July 20th and the factory Buell team is bringing flattrack champs Johhny Murphree and Joe Kopp so it should be a good race check back for footage and results. Where do you live? Where do you ride? Cheers Greg Tracy
