I remember this episode from the show's run, but WOW is what I have to say. It's not just Joanne being so gusty, but the fact that two times she was so close to Susie's total, even after that third whammy. The final moments, Joanne could have easily won because she was so close to Susie and there is more cash than whammies on the board. Gutsy woman but I don't blame her for going for it at 15,000 mark. She even said after she felt good about it.
Relatively high-whammy games tend to be interesting. Do you have any good 10+-whammy games? Those tend to be completely insane and lots of fun to watch.
Patience! Patience! I still haven't got her first episode, for crying out loud! I don't know when I'll get it, you just need to give me time. And besides, I've got too much on my plate at this time.
Well, no, I couldn't. She also may have passed due to nervousness. But it's all about strategy.
For example, passing ANY number of spins to any player that has three whammies is ALWAYS a good strategy. (This doesn't happen here, I'm just suggesting it.)
Is this the first episode with Round 2 having $80,000 on the board instead of 50,000?

This was a thriller for sure. Joanne came oh so close, but the dreaded "one more time curse" showed up.

Boy, Joanne just had to go for it in order to pass Susie for the championship.

Was Suzie right passing those 7 spins?
nextbarker 3 years ago
As you can see from what happened to Joanne, that would be a yes.

Could you blame Suzie? That is still a lot of money to risk.
