Ok Im just going to say it. I know this sounds very Nerdy of me but, who else is a Warhammer 40k fan and saw this movie and thought, "hey I think they just discovered the Warp." and this is what Dr.Weir is describing to Capt. Miller. anyone?

@DaSpartan71 It's a funny coincidence that this movie is a perfect example of what happens to a ship that goes through the warp without a Gellar Field; It's really supposed to be a futuristic version of HP Lovecraft's works: Humans doing something to go "beyond" normal reality/perceptions and they end up attracting the horrors of the other dimensions.

@DaSpartan71 More specifically it looks like it traveled to a region of the warp directly controlled by slaanesh. (At least IMO, all the excessive torture and decadence, especially that displayed in the warning vid seems pretty appropriate to him/her.)
