I don't understand 2:40 - 3:00 very well. The only Zelda games I've played are OoT, ALttP, and TP. Can anyone explain this part (2:40 - 3:00) to me? "Forged by your own hand"? Does this have to do with the multiple choices for Link's reactions to situations? Is this whole section basically saying "this is an origin story"?

@jmacgamer85 It's refencing the fact that this game utilizes motion controls with the Wii Motion Plus. It stimulates actualy swinging the sword, like you are Link. You idea's a good one. You do have a lot of variety in what ypu can have Link "say".

Why is everyone so butt-hurt over him using Scott instead of Link? The game developers allow you to input the characters name for a reason. If you seriously can't watch this (or in @strongcero's case, enjoy it at ALL) because of a name change, I don't even know. I don't even have any sort of witty response to that.

It is without a shadow of a doubt, of the truest masterpieces Nintendo ever created.

I do not regret buying the limited edition; I have fallen completely in love with the soundtracks, the story and every character in this game. Except some malicious characters, that is. xP

I love this too much. Even though I always experience an empty feeling after completing a game, Skyward Sword made me... Happy.

I love how Zelda's bird spits the letter at him and he just... lays there for a minute XD

I also love how Link actually makes full EXPRESSIONS here, and the movement of hair seems more fluid than in Twilight Princess. They did a really nice job there, plus I'm starting to like the soft-cell shading more than I did at first.

Looking forward to really getting into it more this week :D best Christmas present ever.

@drifter402 It's a tradition thing. The faux voicing is what gives nintendo titles like Zelda their charm. If they added voices, half the fanbase would probably declare that it is a horrible game and that they need to go back to no voices.

This version of Rauru in the game pretty much seals the deal on the two being the same, hence the funky eyebrows

@hypermetalsonic I'm pretty sure Kaepora Gaebora (the owl) is the animal reincarnation of Gaebora not Rauru. They aren't tied to Rauru, cause in Oot the owl says "thought that the tales of a boy who could travel back and forth through time were merely a legend." If the owl was Rauru, he would not be speculating on whether or not it was a tale or truth, cause as a sage should know. But I can't knock the strong resemblance.

the floating lands in the sky remind me of so much of Skies of Arcadia that I played on the Gamecube,

One of the best RPGs on the system that was originally on the Dreamcast.

Knowing how much I loved Skies of Arcadia as well as how much I love the Zelda series, I am really looking forward to this game when it comes out after I finish my exams for university.
