watching this I can clearly say devotional tour was one of a kind and was an epic and dare say an apex performance for DM the gods of synth pop. My ears will stop hearing first before I ever tire of their musical genius.

I saw them on Sunday night in Birmingham, UK. They were totally awesome! Dave has THE best live voice I have ever heard, it was like listening to a studio recording. I was not even a big DM fan before, I bought the tickets for my girlfriend who is a BIG fan! Now I am too, COOL!!!

I just realized that this version has the strings sample at the beginning, recycled from the Devotional tour.  That's cool, because I always liked how the strings made the opening more dramatic and beautiful.

Saw them in Hollywood last month, and we got to see them rehearse. The band reheased a lot ; Dave was NOT about to lip synch for the 12,000 fans present and the millions watching.

they use some tapes for the instrumentals, they pretty much have to to replicate the studio versions live, but dave never has and im sure never will lip synch at a live concert.

DM don`t do playback during tours. Never. And you can hear out the difference between the live version and the studio one. Dave`s voice always sounds stronger and throatier than on the CD. It`s a DM trademark.

@Marandaneous They do have a backing tape having effects and a basic layout, and everything that cannot be played live that easily. Alan Wilder once said in his times (1982-1995) it was about 50% live and 50% backing tape.
