I was there that night. It truly was very moving and scary at the same time. I can remember looking at him and saw the sorrow in his face. I was a senior in high school and just 2 months later almost to the day our graduation ceremony was saddened on his day of assasination. 1968 was a very sad year!
But America has come a long way. In only about 40 years, an African American became president, if we continue like this for another century, think about how much we will accomplish.

My mother didn't tell me much about things that happend when i was still young, our not even born.I was born in 1967.But i still remember here telling me, when i was in my teens, about the assasination of John F Kennedy and Martin Luther King.I didn't realy knew who they were at that time, but i never forget my mothers face as she told me, it was as if it just happend on that day

Just to get the facts right, was that he got off a plane and his chief speechwriter for his campaign gave him a quick speech he scribbled on the plane, but rfk didnt bother...But rfk didnt just go up there and speak he did have some very rough notes more like bullet points. that is the precise answer...we all know the aeschylus quote was one he had memorized many times over

I was there that night. It truly was very moving and scary at the same time. I can remember looking at him and saw the sorrow in his face. I was a senior in high school and just 2 months later almost to the day our graduation ceremony was saddened on his day of assasination. 1968 was a very sad year!

Yes. I was just putting the thought forth today as to what the world would have become if Bobby had become President. I traced everything back and forth and came to the conclusion that this would have been a much happier, respected and mature country. Think about what Nixon did to this society and the way it percieved itself. Then think of everything that grew out of that. Makes me sick.

My mother didn't tell me much about things that happend when i was still young, our not even born.I was born in 1967.But i still remember here telling me, when i was in my teens, about the assasination of John F Kennedy and Martin Luther King.I didn't realy knew who they were at that time, but i never forget my mothers face as she told me, it was as if it just happend on that day
