Yes, South Koreas military strength is generally greater than North Korea but not by that much. Even if South Korea and US defeat them, it'll likely cost many lives and resources to do it. And there's also a potential for China to join in the war and defend North Korea, if that happens then South Korea might be defeated and US troops will be forced to retreat.

War is very, very unlikely. North Korea is just making blatant bluff yet again... I don't think that either side is willing to risk all-out nuclear war. Afterall, North Korea faces obliteration from U.S and other countries' nuclear weapons (which far outnumber NK's own stockpile), and U.S face provoking China, a significantly larger threat, not just militarily but also economically. Neither side can take such risks.

Yes, South Koreas military strength is generally greater than North Korea but not by that much. Even if South Korea and US defeat them, it'll likely cost many lives and resources to do it. And there's also a potential for China to join in the war and defend North Korea, if that happens then South Korea might be defeated and US troops will be forced to retreat.
