@kiba40 I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT, but trust me- rulers may have no place in figure drawing, or sketching, but when it comes to drawing a straight line, nothing works better. Sometimes precision is part of what you're trying to draw/ design, why not use a ruler?

And yes, there are things to know about art. If there wasn't, no one could ever improve.

I just think it's awfully ignorant of you to claim that 'real artists don't use rulers'.
