Jeff screwed himself when he held tha WWE up for tha I.C. belt before he went to WCW. He asked for alot of money 2 drop it and that's just wrong. He went about it tha wrong way and paid 4 it cause he can never be in tha WWE again. His dad even says TNA sucks and he don't no y Jeff listens to Russo. His dad brought McMahon wrestlers instead of his son cause he even new his son and Russo would fuck it up. Now that's a shame

First off, what rock and roll era?
Jeff was pushed heavily towards the top by his dad back when Jerry Lawler had his son wrestle under a different name in the mid card.
That may have been the case back in 2003 but now TNA has a much bigger roster with much bigger names. Lets not forget that during his WCW reigns as champion WCW was going way down hill fast.
And you cannot argue that his career justifies four disks, especially when you realize that WWE owns all his matches between 1993 - 2001

The WWE, as much as it sucks right now, at least they have enough confidence in their roster not to overuse gimmick matches. Gimmick matches are supposed to be special, they are supposed to end feuds, not have every match in a feud have a damn gimmick, it takes the specialness out of the feud. I;ve been watching wrestling for over 30 years, and booking wise, TNA is the worst promotion I have ever seen other than maybe CZW and XPW. Why can't TNA book their fed the way ECW (not WWECW) used to?
Plus, why all the fucking gimmick matches? It's like 95 percent of all matches in TNA (especially at PPVs) have a lame name or gimmick attached to it in order to sell it. Whatever happened to an OLD SCHOOL style singles match that did not need a name/gimmick attached to it in order to sell it. It's like The TNA Bookers are saying "OK, AJ, we think you have talent, but not enough to sell a match unless it has a gimmick attached" That's some confidense in your roster, TNA Bookers
The fact that they release Petey and push an overrated, inexperienced move botching sloppy worker like Brutus Magnus also speaks volumes. Magnus is god awful. The guy barely beat Shark Boy, then he dominates Sabin, give me a fucking break. You can do better than this TNA That guy is worse than David Flair, hell he's worse than David Sammartino

yeah i agree! that Cross the Line song SUCKS ASS!!! Against All Odds was terrible!!! like 4 of the matches were so lame and short!! i write down the matches and rate them on 4 stars, and those 4 matches i gave 2 stars to! and i think only 1 or 2 matches got 4 stars!
TNA needs a big shake up in the creative end and the roster. I dont like to see anyone lose their jobs but as long as TNA retains the following I am fine:
AJ, Joe, Angle, Rhino, Abyss, Storm, Cornette, Foley, Sting and the Dudleys.
The womans division can go. I am fine with former WWE guys as long as they can still perform and put over AJ and Joe.
I'm not up on ROH or the indies but I would love for TNA to hire RVD, Sabu and Muta. And can Vader stiill go? I would pay to see him if he can.
I probably have all his Memphis stuff on tape but I might get this because I have been an on and off again TNA fan these past few years. And I like Jarrett. He is the legacy of Memphis Wrestling, He cuts a good heel promo and he has brought TNA this far. I still have hope that he will see the light, fire Russo and become an alternative to the WWE instead of WWE-lite.
And I want a long tag team run for Jarrett and Foley, build them up as great friends, then feud them in crazy gimmick matches.

Umm judging by what happened on ECW, WWE is probably going to use him to push the guys on the show which I think is using him right. They recognize his talents and ability to put guys over. Plus, there really isn't any room for him on any other brand right now, especially since it's so close to Mania. Also, try and be patient and see where this goes. He's only been back in WWE for about a day and everyone's already whining and complaining for no good reason.

I'm with everybody on here. It makes me so sad to see TNA like this. A piece of garbage. At one time it had the opportunity to overcome the WWE or even match up with it. But my God, TNA is a joke now. Releasing Petey was just another step in the breakdown of TNA. Can anyone say WCW 2.0? I was a huge fan of wrestling then I stopped, then TNA began and I got all excited about wrestling again, now it's a disappointment. WWE is all we have now, TNA is officialy dead.

The womans division can go. I am fine with former WWE guys as long as they can still perform and put over AJ and Joe.
I'm not up on ROH or the indies but I would love for TNA to hire RVD, Sabu and Muta. And can Vader stiill go? I would pay to see him if he can.

I probably have all his Memphis stuff on tape but I might get this because I have been an on and off again TNA fan these past few years. And I like Jarrett. He is the legacy of Memphis Wrestling, He cuts a good heel promo and he has brought TNA this far. I still have hope that he will see the light, fire Russo and become an alternative to the WWE instead of WWE-lite.
And I want a long tag team run for Jarrett and Foley, build them up as great friends, then feud them in crazy gimmick matches.

They released Petey? Are they slowly killing off their X-division? TNA needs to stop being more like WWE. While I don't mind them pushing their heavyweights, the X-division was what I loved about TNA. Please get back on track TNA.

You know what TNA releasing Petey tells me about their faith in the X-Division? TNA management unlike MOST OF THEIR FANS have zero faith in restoring their X-Division. Which is sad, because I guarantee that the vast majority of fans that TNA has been barely clinging on to lately started watching TNA because of the X-Division. Even more, most of us probably got into TNA just based off the Canadian destroyer move alone.

get your facts straight, Petey left because his contract was coming up and he and TNA couldn't come to an agreement on the new terms. He was NOT released. His deal expired and he expected TNA to pay him a fortune.

Where have you read that he wanted a fortune? while yes his contract expired it also seems that TNA didn't feel that they needed to keep him around so they could use the money to bring in guys the WWE just released..while I love Stevie Richards Petty is the better guy right now and with the Exseption of Burke or Dykstra non of the guys that the WWE has released would be better either.

It's a common theme. Both Gail Kim and Christian left TNA for the WWE because they wanted more money. Gail Kim loved TNA, yet she wanted more money and they wouldn't deliever so she left.
I doubt TNA will hire anymore former WWE guys.
They've been signing a bunch of European and Japanese stars. A few have'nt debuted yet.

Umm judging by what happened on ECW, WWE is probably going to use him to push the guys on the show which I think is using him right. They recognize his talents and ability to put guys over. Plus, there really isn't any room for him on any other brand right now, especially since it's so close to Mania. Also, try and be patient and see where this goes. He's only been back in WWE for about a day and everyone's already whining and complaining for no good reason.

I'm with everybody on here. It makes me so sad to see TNA like this. A piece of garbage. At one time it had the opportunity to overcome the WWE or even match up with it. But my God, TNA is a joke now. Releasing Petey was just another step in the breakdown of TNA. Can anyone say WCW 2.0? I was a huge fan of wrestling then I stopped, then TNA began and I got all excited about wrestling again, now it's a disappointment. WWE is all we have now, TNA is officialy dead.
