At least in Afghanistan I won't have to hear in the news about anti-war protests about fighting an illegal war and calls for all troops to come home. I pity the soldiers, Marines, sailors, and airmen who had to put up with that when they returned from Iraq. But their mission is now complete, time to shift focus to the Taliban and Al Qaeda once again. Maybe this time we'll even finish them for good and settle the score. Who knows. I'm just glad Iraq's no longer even in the news anymore.

Going to Iraq now isn't feasible, now that the Marines are being shifted to Afghanistan. Afterall, there is virtually no real security threat left to Iraq's stability. No more truck bombs, no more death squads, no more all out assaults against rogue militias. The situation has come along so well that the Iraqis will finally be able to say they have their country back.

Haliburton would send civilian truckers into areas that were know ahead of time "red zones," and civilian truckers did not know this, and consequently got shot to pieces. Blackwater, would send many of their mercenaries out on runs that were titled "clerical," to the mercenaries involved and they ended up with un-armored and SAW-less vehicles and minimal personnel all in the name of profit.
