@rch1407 yes you can, a prion is a protein...that moves in the animals blood stream, it is mostly found in the brain but still can move in the blood stream. Blood is in meat, so therefore yes you can get it by eating infected meat.
There is a future in farming, once more and more people catch on to what these giant corporations are doing. There's a future for organic plant agriculture, once more and more people realize that animal exploitation and abuse (whether in factory farming form or in small so-called "happy meat" farms) is unnecessary and unjustifiable.

@UMakeTheConnection I've seen it. And yes, I was - and am still, actually - angry about what Monsanto and other corporations are doing to us. And I agree, organic is the only way to go. I hope enough people wake up and realize we must do something before it's too late.
