  • brilliant!

  • Great song!

  • wow, this guy is a east coast john frusciante

  • Everyone at my school calls me Albert cause i look exactly like him lol

  • what a quality tune... been lovin it for a while but the3 vid is brilliant.... Albie should do ore on his own as he's very talented... but never leave the strokes

  • I Lost My Way.

    That's What She Said,

    Back To The 101. :D

  • He didnt quit the strokes ppl, just letting you know.

  • I think rap will die soon. Let's face it, aren't we all sick of these thugs who think thay actually have talent. Pleas! Hurray for albert hammand, the strokes, and mr. julian casablancas. word to you mother. pimp out.

  • i hope rap dont die out coz that meens all the nobheads who liked rap will like the music we like.

    from ben speed

  • you're really cool (just kidding, you're a loser)

  • this guy's album "took me by surprise" haha I REALLY enjoy his music

  • ¿alguien puede decirme qué significa "back to the 101" en español? ¿a qué se refiere el título de esta rola? ¿es un modismo o qué?

  • Quer simplesmente dizer "Regresso ao princípio". 101 é um termo usado nos Estados Unidos para definir o primeiro nível de qualquer disciplina na escola primária. "Back to 101" é o regresso ao início de algo.

  • Gracias

  • De nada.

Sem dúvida, Albert Hammond Jr e os Strokes são absolutamente fantásticos.

    Fica bem.

  • whens the butt part everyones talking about? LOL

  • aaahhhh!!!he's a zombie!!!

  • I love the melody !

    *

  • oh cute albert!!

    Love him!!

  • Such a beautiful melody...

  • I love this song in contrast to everything I hear today.

My average bus/train journeys consist of squecky-voiced techno-pop and hip-hop about how sex = love and money = love.

Artists like Albert Hammond Jr and The Strokes don't come around often...cherish their sound.

  • damn right! you can't spell crap without rap...not saying that the artist are bad people, because their pretty smart if they can speak to music about whores and still make millions...but music like albert and the strokes is the kind of music i like and its well written, and not spoken word. whats these guys do takes real talen, but their still not mainstream like that garbage you hear everywhere else. i'm going to Z100 tomorrow and complaining...maybe they'll put some strokes on =)

  • .......if they're high.

  • kinda sad :(

  • its not bad but like alot of classic acts (rolling stones)its only good when they're good

  • the video doesn't do the song justice

  • sadly, i agree. the song is friggen fantastic

  • albert hammond jr looks like Rob Schneider, i always thought that

  • Bravo Albert! ;)

  • SUPER! ;)

  • this is great!

  • świetne! :D

  • melody 's perfect

  • j'adore!!!

  • If the ghosts pass through the things why they don't sink on the ground?

  • it's just so like, happy, and I love it.

  • i love this!

  • Bold statement Iceman, although I have to agree his new album was a pleasant surprise after the strokes released FIOE. His songs don't have that leather jacket sound Julian brings, though.

  • I would rather say that it's better than "The First Impressions Of Earth", imho :) .

  • i wud even go to say that his single stff is better then the strokes stuff, or its gettin there, his showing a new maturity an understanding for music, really hope he brings out another album, will deff be looking out for him wen he comes back here again, u rock alberto!! ledge

  • though it took him by surprise...albert realized there was something he could do...create damn good music!

  • Saw this bloke on friday at the Latitude festival in beccles southwald and I gotta say he owned the stage and was amazing, prolli one of the best acts on the day, the crowd was massive and loved all his songs, and he seemed a really cool down to earth guy, even some of the bands before him (Fields and Ra Ra Riot) came out to watch him and jus stood in amazement, the former strokes man is gunna be huge on his own, watch this space!!

  • i don't mean to hate on albert or anything, i think his solo album is pretty cool and i'm a big fan of the strokes, but....

has anyone else noticed how similar the melody of this song is to new order's 'love vigilantes'? (low-life, 1985) if you don't know it put this into the youtube search:

New Order live, Glastonbury 2005, 'Love Vigilantes'

  • ..god, is very similar o.o

  • also this video has a strong 'film school' style which i find annoying.

but those are my only gripes. albert's fucking great and i look forward to the new album.

  • what a fucking song

  • great song, great video.... albert is greeeaaattt!!

  • waou j' adore tes cheveux ^^

    surtout quand tu cours =p

     vive les frisés!!!

  • wat a song

  • is that mainly albert singing?? and what's with this band on the sid ething. the strokes are still together! wait-- THEY'RE STILL TOGETHER RIGHT???? if not i'll cry-- and if albert dies-- i'll cry---- ok yeah-- i agree with the cute butt thing too! haha. wow it was all depressing until he started losing limbs and then i couldn't help but laugh. poor guy. great song!! good vid.!

  • Yes, I love that part too!

  • cool video. doesn't stand up to all the top strokes videos, but whatever, it's still very entertaining. love the W.W.J.D scene!

  • haha. yes, his butt is ADORABLE!
