I love how the media is taking full advantage of this conflict to make it into something big. First of all, Tibet was a slave region that belonged to China. But with the communist party, China tried to reform Tibet, this made the Dalai Llamas and their aristocratic people furious because they no longer have slaves to serve them. Commoners in Tibet actually do pretty well in China, they befriend the Chinese and considers themselves a minority group of China

My dad has a Tibetan friend and he does not express any anger towards China at all. In fact, his friends in Tibet aren't even angered by this issue.

If there is propaganda, it's the ones you're believing in.

Greedy swine, they will get what they deserve, the Tibetan people are resilient and can do absolutely FINE without mod cons that the Chinese have brought.

I've heard that Tibetans/Nepalis rub 3 month old babies with butter, and leave them outside naked, to toughen them up. They cannot be defeated, physically or spiritually.

haha. Yes, this practice is common in India too. Only in this case, it is oil not butter. But what if China does the same with its children?

@ashutoshmikku Because China is falling into the trap that we, the "west" have fallen into, and that is buying things, in the ignorant belief that it will improve you.

We buy coats, instead of rub our babies with butter, and we use guns to make us fearless.

Take away the guns and coats, and you are left with shivering cowards!

That is why they will never be destroyed, because they live in harmony with nature/each other, and that is the stronger force!
