  • that was a beast of a pass!

  • Comment removed

  • Montoya = BALLS OF TITAN! x)

  • Now that was Montoya's greatest pass! Sublime!

  • @MikeSV1989 Ironically, Schumacher did the exact same move on Jean Alesi in 1995 with their wheels inter-locked lol

  • @Xehanor

Yeah, that was also a huge pass!

  • O_O

  • ahhhhhhhh good times when the overtake was allowed

  • BRING BACK MONTOYA!!!

  • Comment removed

  • that was brilliant! but those F1 were brutal, look at that sound.

  • @alvarokas ...look at that sound...

    I'm not even going to

  • @slangig oh, im terribly sorry, i meant hear it, not look at it...

  • He's an asshole, but I love him...

  • Prefirio irse a USA a tragar hamburguesas y engordar como cerdo. Despues de eso no volvio a ser el mismo de siempre.....solo vean NASCAR.

  • Montoya was one of the best passers. Also was one of the best qualifiers in F1.

  • That's not the F1 2011 Online Mode.

  • @FreekyFreezer It is not XD

  • @FreekyFreezer haha

  • BEST PASS I HAVE EVER SEEN, short of Kimi Raikkonen on Giancarlo Fisichella at Suzuka in 2005.

  • This is SPA o_O ?

  • Bring back Bus Stop!!!

  • F1 was so much better when they had V10s.

  • Ballsy move! JPM is a great driver!!!

  • Ah the good old PROPER bus stop! :D

  • Senna, Montoya and Hamilton were made from the same cloth. F1 needs real racers like them. These are the only ones who have the balls to overtake where no one else does. FIA introducing DRS was the worst decision they could ever made. Now, even shit overtakers come across as fantastic overtakers. What a farce this sport has become! Can´t blame Montoya for getting fed up with F1, especially after being robbed of the 2003 championship by FIA who made sure their favourite driver wouldn´t lose it.

  • :O

  • With Montoya still in F1 there would be no DRS

  • @FreekyFreezer Just hell of a lot more drive-throughs.

  • @FreekyFreezer Yeah because he knew how to overtake people! I remember a Monaco race where he made 9 overtakes while the other 19 drivers made 2 :D

  • @fpupesh But why he can overtake and a champion like Alonso can't?

  • @FreekyFreezer I have no freaking idea... Alonso, Button, Webber, Vettel - they're probably very good drivers but they settle. They'll never fight for the win like Schumi, Hamilton, Montoya... but they are drivers which almost nobody could overtake. Remember Imola 2005? God bless DRS cause otherwise we could se 10-12 overtakes this season...

  • @FreekyFreezer

    Montoya himself WAS a DRS

  • @MikeSV1989 Best JPM comment ever read!

  • @FreekyFreezer

Thanks man, just saying what it was. With Juan Pablo Montoya, the "dirty air" didn't matter. He just pointed his nose through and braked as late as he could. He just went for it!

  • @MikeSV1989 and now they're drivin' like aww I got my money, I don't care about my stupid crew chief.

  • @FreekyFreezer

And the V-10 Engines. I miss them so much! Montoya vs Schumacher was always fun to watch! Look at watch?v=VEyVJJrKPk0 Schumacher tought he would throw JPM out of the track and he ended up as the one was the one thrown into a spin. And the incident at /watch?v=4Lfj8g_mHeE That was good pass over Montoya, who braked too late to defend on Turn 1 followed by a nasty blocking by the German. I don't care what FIA would say. That was when F1 was Fun.

  • @MikeSV1989 Yeah. They sounded great. And Montoya vs Schumacher was the best rivalry of the last 20 years. We need a couple of fighter who would do everything to win and no pay drivers.

  • Why was it so easy? Was the track wet or something?

  • Spectacular!

  • That was probably the only overtake of the entire race...

  • Man i miss the good old V10 days... :(

  • LIKE A BOSS!!

  • @azmichael34 And it wasn't his decision to walk away from F1. In 2006, Ron Dennis decided to kick him out, accusing him of a series of incidents with his participation. And that was actually the end of his carrier in f1.He moved to NASCAR.

  • @azmichael34 You clueless MS fan.Yes MS is 7 times WC but he will never be the fastest man on the track.See some facts and then comment.Fastest lap ever in F1 (latest records set, not top of fastest laps) is by Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya lapped Monza in 2004 with his Williams FW27 at an average speed of 262.242 km/h in pre-qualifying. MS was never a sportsman in this sport. He will be never n1 in F1 even if he win 77 WC titles. There's still Lap records on several tracks by JPM unbeaten.

  • i miss the old cars, old sponsors, V10 engine sounds. I miss it everything :(

  • @kolazone4 me too... :(

  • adios schumacher, nos vemos al final de la carrera

  • That took balls. It was especially enjoyable seeing it done against Michael Schumacher. Great overtake.

  • Ughh! Those V10s sounded like magic!

  • 2004 was the greatest year for F1 cars. 20000 rpm (BMW), 950 hp, awesome sound...

  • I hate the sound of TC

  • the old bus stop chicane was so so much better, and i also really wish they'd bring the old V10 engines back, they sounded so good!!

  • Excellent

  • Clean pass!!!!

  • Good move, though I think he caught Michael napping here, hence the relatively straight forward pass.

  • Juan, F1 needs you. Come back please!

  • @DINOSFM1994 No we've got Hamilton,That is all

  • This bus stop is way better

  • so much better than the new bus stop! why ruin it?!

  • montoya is crazy and got balls...maestro to

  • Michael's mistake....might have slipped upon braking, had to compromise on the first turn of the chicane, way than enough opening for Montoya to go through...

  • So the pass was down to tyres...erm tyres? as soon as bridgestone knew it would take some time before they could match michelin's 'fantastic tyres' they were banned by FIA (FIDDLErrari-inter-aid). Ultimately, this unique pass is one of those exotic types that JPM did to MS.

  • This is why I liked Montoya, this is amazing skill. But in the same race he proved why I disliked him at the same time: his amazing inconsistency. Having a faster car (thanks to fantastic tyres) he still ended the race behind Schumacher.

  • This seems like more of a mistake from Schumacher rather than an epic pass from Montoya. If Schumacher jsut takes a standard line into the bus stop Montoya would have no option but to follow him through.

  • @TrueMEDIAco You are clearly blind. It was a great move, and it wasn't a mistake on the great Michael, he was protecting the racing line since he saw JPM coming close and the logical choice was to cover the apex. But JPM did the unexpected and went on the outside on a tight corner. one of the ALL TIME GREATS, because of the split second descition making JPM did. It wasn't a mistake, Michael did it by the book!

  • that BMW engine was so powerful......... BMW engine hit 20000 rpm...... pity williams couldnt build a chassis..... williams make boring conservative cars.bmw gave them a engine to win in 2001-2003

  • Fucking awesome!! Bring back the bus stop!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice overtake =]

  • Wow, Schumacher was way too cautious here. It's a nice overtake nevertheless, but if Schumacher would have been less cautious, this wouldn't have been possible. :P

  • @rodawa0 Yeah right any other excuses?!.

  • @TOXICTRACE It's not an excuse. Btw, I'm not a fan of Schumacher and I liked to see Montoya's driving style. I always like the agressive driving, so I'm also a fan of Hamilton. :)

Anyways, I guess you don't have any experience in racing? I don't mean to attack you, but something like this is never possible, you know that when you're in the car yourself. But just look at Schumacher's line into the busstop: he stays on the inside a lot and climbs the kerbstones too much. If he had taken a little

  • @TOXICTRACE If he had taken a little wider line through the busstop, Montoya would have no way to pass him there. That's why I said Schumacher was too cautious.

(Sorry to put it in 2 seperate messages, but I had to. My message was too long hehe :P).

  • @rodawa0 Funny how you and some user call "TrueMedia" hmm 'True' ?..Media'? can make excuses about JPM pass which was another trade mark from him. Lets be clear JPM was unconventional when it came to pass someone else;an artist on the track. So for you to say that 'i dont know about racing',as we clearly can see the top scores that others had given to the comments above, any other excuse to MS, is just wanting-loving to live in denial.

  • @TOXICTRACE I'm not trying to find any excuses. Montoya was a great driver and, as you say, a true artist on the track. It was great to have him in F1 and I do actually miss him. I'll try to say it in a different way: Montoya made a nice move here, true. Here he showed that he had balls by even trying to pass from that far away. All I'm saying is that Schumacher was a bit too cautious here, cause usually this wouldn't be possible. Nevertheless it was a great move and it looks very good! :-)

  • @rodawa0 Ok!.Cautious or not,JPM inimitable passed made MS look like a novice. Futhermore do a research and you'll find that this overtake was double slap- forever. The truth prevails MONTOYEAH.

  • @TOXICTRACE Yeah and it hurts your ass to see a video of MS beating Montoya in a race, or lap, corner, or even a pit stop. Kimi and Michael had won championships and both don't rage like a whiny 7 year old. Has JPM won a championship? Or is he too busy crashing into Ralf Schumacher?

  • @azmichael34 Erm?! who's beating who in this video eh?!,are you watching the same video?!. I belive it's MS who was beating-outclassed with an unbelievable pass by JPM, and that overtake will remain forever!. Oh well, evidently it's you who's felling the pain !!!!!!!!!!!. Ba,bye.

  • @TOXICTRACE Yeah and also 7 World Drivers' Championships will stay forever while Montoya will be remembered as the brave, yet angry bloke who never won a championship and stupid enough to move on to NASCAR.

  • @azmichael34 'stupid to move to Nascar' Stupid?..erm? enough...Anybody can have enough whilst you compete to win in any sport and all what you see-face is obstacles in 'order' to hold you progress. Better to do something you enjoy that something you wont and ultimately everyman has his limitations. So certainty was enough,stupid?... i don't think so.

  • @TOXICTRACE Yes, it was stupid, he had the most fabled form of motorsport in his hands and decides to walk away for some hillbilly left turning. Now of course you say that and now you can't criticize Schumi for coming back to F1 because it is his passion. You also have your limited mind in which case, you are too busy typing on your computer, saving your dream-boy Montoya from even a word like "bloke", and ultimately sucking on that, too. Close your account so we'll all be happy. Two-faced cunt.

  • ow you broke my f*cking head!

you broke my f*cking head! no-ja!

    you broke my f*cking head!

Juan Pablo. the overglorified yet amusing taxi driver

  • @IceCoolG4mes Says who?....Disrespecful little git. Come back when you achive something in life and be careful of what you say-reply as life can be an irony.

  • @TOXICTRACE disrespectful? is juan now a diety? and how do you know i dont already own millions of my own hard earned money? that's right. as for you im guessing you must be a sad little dick head whom feels the need to defend a driver with no control of his temper.

    -intresting driver

    -bad person

  • @IceCoolG4mes Wow 'i own milions' what an achivement, thanks for sharing but no thanks .It goes to show that all that counts for you is money, that's right eh?!. How humble you're. As for you calling JPM a bad person; well, if you do as much as him for children in need maybe, just maybe you'll be an 'intEresting person' but since clearly you're not, i'll leave you to continue being a scrooge .Bye,bye

  • @TOXICTRACE what do you owe to juan to defend him so much? danm man montoya has an anger issue ans shouldn't have been allowed to race with it. yes it gave the sport a good turn but in terms of being a person i wonder why he wasn't in a mental hospital. if you care to continue this argument maybe we can meet at your local track and settle it there. like men.

  • @IceCoolG4mes I got back on what i said before about you, and i'll finish with you just exactly as my last reply.

  • Legendary!

  • This was back when they had traction control and the cars virtually drove themselves.

  • Back when Williams was competitive...

  • Hopefully if Kobayashi moves to a front-running team, we might see some more of this.

Montoya's probably the best driver the sport has seen where overtaking is concerned.

P.S. Ignore my name, I still preferred Schumacher.

  • @F1JPMontoya Dispensed your pleasantries towards JPM, and do us a favour change your user name.

  • @TOXICTRACE Who's "us"?

And I wasn't looking for your hostility.

  • @F1JPMontoya Erm 'hostility' ?. Oh, Sr forgive my humble request, but since the name you're using is not your name,as it's obvious that name belongs to some else, and evidently represents the ID of one of the most talented racing drivers the sport of motoracing can enjoy, would you Sr,seriously consider to changue it.

  • Comment removed

  • Today he would've just waited till the DRS zone and used KERS...

  • @007SonnyBlack but in those days .. there would be races with No Overtaking and we would all fall asleep by lap 4

  • @007SonnyBlack but back then they only used pure talent

  • @MrAtomicfireball and traction control.

  • @007SonnyBlack Well that is unforuntate....but its still better than if we wouldnt see overtakings at all.

  • i miss the bus stop :(

  • @ShaunTheSheriff You and me both :[

  • some people say when he raced in F1 the top of the helmet was supposed to look like the color of his penis.

  • the old bus stop...fantastic....

  • "Beautiful,absolutely beautiful".

I to miss the Colombian charger in F1,he really was a breath of fresh air.He never gave an inch.

  • se iria riendo dentro del caso...

  • 29 broken hearts lol

  • This bus stop is as bad as the new one, the pre 2003 one was best (mabye not that bad)

  • This is why JPM was good for F1 he was not just a sucker in a fast car, he had the guts to actually overtake ppl, not like Schumacher, who only passed people on pitstrategy. Montoya's departure from F1 was one of the main reasons why Formula 1 racing has gone down the drain in the last couple of years.

  • Do a research and you'll find that this inimitable pass by JPM,was double slap on MS face.Twice as nice and that's forever. The truth prevails MONTOYEAH.

  • Schumacher had to brake earlier cus of his Tires. They were Old. After this Manouver Montoya could not disappear from him cause his tires startet also with graning. But anyway, nice move. ;)

  • I am a Schumacher fan and I do not approve this video!

  • @magnusfi LOL

  • @magnusfi , you say that because it hurts your heart jajajajjajajajajjajaja

  • 28 Shumacher fans and counting...

  • 0:08 feel the power of the v10 engine

  • @tykve now we will feel the power of v6 :S

  • thats the way it's done son lol

  • I am a huge Ferrari Fan, but this was a fantastic ovetake by JPM!!!!

  • Schumy was too careless in there.

  • @astra606 because he was already the champion:)

  • @tykve that's not a good reason why he gave his position away! :)

  • eat that, chinman! :P

  • Quando le macchine in f1 riuscivano ancora a sorpassarsi...

  • @hannes334 lol no I just wanted to waste some ones time by doing a essay of why its not fake by analysing.

  • FAKE, because Montoya never driven for BMW.

  • @JamesDS95 entonces a donde corria en la formula uno?

  • @JamesDS95 Its Williams and 100% not fake ;) eat that shumi fan

  • @TuneViper I know its not fake i just wanted an reaction from you guys. ;)

  • nice!

  • That's why I love Montoya. He always goes straight after his goal not thinking twice or about the consecuences. He always thought of giving spectacle to F1 fans no matter what would happen to him. It's really hard to find such drivers these days.Look where he managed to do an overtaking move,in a place that the others can only dream about it.He really is a missing component in F1.I would really be happy to see him race again.

  • @blerand91

    Enter Kamui Kobayashi

  • @tyronnezx Yes he also made some fantastic moves in Suzuka last year

  • The traction is just insane!

  • Eat shit ms.

  • What Master Montoya

Shame he left for crappy NASCAR

  • Nice drive! Montoya has much talent, but he is a hothead ;) ... At least he was at that time.

Would be good for Formula One to see him back again!

  • why this man left F1 for frickin' NASCAR I'll never figure out!!!

  • anche Montoya camminava

  • The sound of these cars, oh please bring back the v10's!

  • Damn!!! That was a hell of a pass!

  • everybody saying : wow montoya so awesome .. bla bla .. u watched the race till end? he tried same thing with trulli .. just watch it on youtube ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @Covzz09 So what you trying on?,¿that what JPM did to MS,wasn´t awesome? are you trying to make excuses to MS?,so the best is no really the best,i´ll agreed on that one if you think the same.Do we saw anybody doing what JPM did...the answer is not and, never will the chicane no longer exist. So it didn´t work with trulli ...why?,i tell you why,Trulli was told by radio that JPM will try that one on him .Unbeliavable JPM wasn´t penalized for Trulli clumpsy moved. So again what are you trying to say?

  • nice move

  • wow , I'm sure Montoya is one of the most aggressive drivers in the world ...

  • I can't understand why Schumacher did that. He used the brakes out of the line, and then stepped fully inside the zebra. He wanted Montoya to pass.

  • why was the old bus stop ever changed, whose idea was that ???

  • @thechiv The idea was to extend the length of the pitstraight in order for the pitlane to be able to be extended

  • nice overtake

  • no magic, just a new stupid BUS STOP chican for noobs.

  • I hated Monotya when he was in F1 but there is no doubt that the fucking idiot was a fantastic driver. I still can't stand the prick tbh.

  • montoya is a great driver, yet he is a cunt

  • damn I hated traction control

  • I miss this old config. of the bus stop chicane, the one we have now is completely messed up :(

  • I . MISS . V10's!!!!

  • like a boss.

  • Yeah ! Montoya + Ralf schumacher on williams-bmw was a great time !

  • amazing!

  • like a bitch!!!

  • that's one of a kind overtake

  • Immense skill required to overtake on the old bus stop. I've never seen this before.

  • @nickJod1234 Yes, skill and the fact Schumacher left him so much room you can ride a truck past. We do not miss Montoya. He has a broken head... :)

  • @CrowChorus Were you the cameraman that broke his head? hehe.

  • @nickJod1234 Unfortunately no. Wouldn't that be epic though.... But really, F1 should not miss people with such character...him, James Hunt, Johnny Herbert and such...

  • @nickJod1234 Immense skill and bravery.

  • i do miss him a lot, one hell of a driver. Montoya come back just for kick schumis ass once more :D

  • Beautiful!

  • Kobayashi. The new JPM?

  • @danthemanpatrick Not hotblooded enough :) I still miss such a person in F1... such character...
