  • exactly...thank you gregory

  • Sireliner, mi harc unem: Do you also think that women shouldn't sing songs by Gusans? I mean not that I dislike women and I love female opera singers etc., but Sayat Nova, Gusan Ashot etc. should be sung by men.

  • sireli rammbock, you,re not the first to say that: sayat nova should be performed by a male. i can only say that this song is one of the peaks of nune yesayan,s work, at least i think.

  • anyone know where i can find the lyrics?

  • jan jan jan Hayer jan

  • Who is the artist who painted those paintings from 1:57~2:07? The veiled faces are interesting.

  • the painter,s name is rené magritte

  • the main thing is that sayat nova understood this, and some of us do. merry christmas and happy amanor...

  • you understood all but this sequence? it,s ok. it is, dear hoynanar, about the great mystery of knowing another person, loving but not knowing. which is possible and the case. we don,t have to know everything, do we. glad you,re analizing in great detail. thanks for the kind comment.

  • very nice job

    i like specially this song

i'd like to ask about the pictures: 1:57~2:07 i don't understand their meaning.

    what r they about?

    thank u gugulia!

  • i don,t think you cannot find sayat nova poetry in azeri, hopefully you did since. i don,t even dare to think you wanted to hint something else... why don,t you simply enjoy this wonderful music, hm? which happens to be armenian, you like it or not...

  • great music

armenians and turks should forget about history for once and just listen each other's music. same instrument same music even same common words are uttered on each side of the border.

  • zikimen-sickman, it's not for you to decide whether we'll forget what the mongol fuckers did to our grandparents.

Now you can fuck off and disappear and don't forget to take your turkish ass hole of friends with you.

  • you obviously have a problem. looking at your profile, all I can say is pls see a physiatrist for your own sake.

  • At least I've got a profile and am not hiding anything. Seems like you've got a lot to hide...

  • Velikaya nacia!! Velikie ludi!

  • vse armeane pediki, ebal ia vashu naciu

  • nurlan shows above his linguistic and cohabitational abilities concerning a whole nation...;)) nurlan, if this is all you can say, you better refrain from commenting in the future. thank you.

  • I can't stand idiots.

  • I know the history very well and I dont change facts by the way! Of course every nation praises only himself, so I just dont want to argue. I like action more then talking! And you all better watch "we are real turks" on Youtube, your comments are really needed there!

  • Hey brotha, do you have a problem with us praising our nation? After all we gave you our Sayat Nova. He died in 1805 but you're still enjoying his music he gererously gave to you over 2 centuries ago!

    Viva Armenia!

  • you know tweeked history, nothing more, that's why you re trying show off a new "history" of Georgia!

  • ...and created huge patrs opf tiflis too. never forget to mention that, thanks...;))

  • the interesting thing that i haven,t mentioned anything about sayat nova,s nationality...;)) by the way, zviadan, tiflis used to be cultural centre of caucasus, asd you may know it well. no surprise that many armenians settled there.

  • Listen to Gurgen Dabaghyan and read the title of the song

  • "Sakartvelos mepis sazandari var"(I'm the saz player of Georgian king) is one of his greatest poems...

He is burried in Georgia, becasue that was his will. Sayat Nova was a great Georgian musician with Armenian roots.

  • That's because Tbilisi (Tiflis) used to have an Armenian majority population. So yes, there are a lot of Georgians with Armenian roots. :)

  • As I can see you dont have a true information.

From 18th to 19th century Armenians were up to 21% of Tbilisi population. This was the maximum ever, but of course its a big percentage. A very big part of famous Armenians were born in Georgia.

  • Were they famous because they were born in Georgia, or they were famous because they were smart, intelligent and talented and they happened to be Armenians?

  • Sayat Nova died in 1805,not in 1795!
