  • somebody got the notes/tabs of this song ?

  • Pretty sure its a Vibro-King

  • You rock! Excellently done!

  • Awesome !!

  • ....it's a Super Reverb!

  • @ matthew909 .. i think it's a Fender Combo. Maybe a Twin Reverb..?! You can see it in the beginning of this clip btw....he's pretty good!

  • VERY GREAT PLAYING !

  • what amp is he using?

  • On Nov 2, Philip told me that he's got stock wound 63's in his Mother strat. That's when I saw him perform at Molly Malone's.

  • you can definantly hear Hendrix in his playing :)

  • '58 pickups are great. Stevie had '59 in his number one, great sound and playin'

  • Phat tone, kick ass

  • What a heavy sound!

  • I love that old guitar of yours that's held together with spit & duct tape. I wonder how old it is? Anyway, you are the man. Thanks for joining Melissa's family. You are perfect with her too.

  • Its a 1963 stratocaster with 58 pickups

  • milkman93,

Thnx for the info. I think it's beautiful, but then it could just be what it can do in the right hands!

  • What's really awesome, is when you look at how it's aged since the first times he was playing it ^_^

(for instance the Jeff Healey videos)

  • So True.. Strat has aged, but he's aged like a fine wine! He just keeps gettin' better!

  • @milkman93 He calls this guitar "Mother"- last issue of "Guitarist" had a detailed review of it

  • @individrus do you know what fret sizes his "Mother" has?

  • @fezzard Jumbo-or maybe even bigger. On the photo in the magazine those frets look really huge:)

Actually you can ask Phillip himself in his twitter, he is a nice guy and answers to all these technical questions

  • @individrus cool, thanks for the info... one more question, do you know what string sizes he usually uses?

  • @fezzard He said he was playing 011 for a long while- but know he switched to 009 because "his fingers demanded some rest":)

  • @individrus he told me he uses 6100 fret size. that is huge. hahah

  • It's a 1963 Fender

  • Good sound,Good Play,Good Feeling,Excellent!!

  • You're "todays" Jimi.Awesome

  • never again kid

  • He's "todays" Philip ;)

  • what dvd is this?
