Hi Kerry, I have a short question that I have struggled with for over ten years. I have decided it is the only question that matters to me right now seeing as it is almost fruitless to try and prove or disprove the BoM. When we as missionaries tell people to pray about the BoM we give them the scripture in Moroni 10:3-5. So I am under the impression (because it makes a lot more sense in my mind) that there is no god and man "made up" god to explain things that are unexplainable.
@camdawg7 So we can pray to god to know if he is real and if anything is true. how will we get an answer? In many different ways which I have experienced such as peace, warmth, burning in the bosom, nothing, confusion, serenity, sometimes anger from lack of patience, sometimes patience! And many other feelings. My question is how can we know if a certain feeling is from god or if it is just from our brains from the experience we are partaking in?
Well I dont know back yard, I am a genius, so all I would have to say is that there were palm trees in Oman, LoL, gee doesn't mean that the book is not a mere fantasy., Three people groups transverse the two great oceans over time? ...a lot of gold and brass plate stuff, but there is no evidence to validate it, its just not there, and I wonder why. Fantasy comes to mind.
I find it amazing that Mormon's use Mayan Temples in LDS Art,
But if one was to study the Mayan People, it becomes clear,.... Mayans were not Jews. They did not live the law of Moses. Those temples have nothing to do with Mormonism or Christianity of Judaism.
LDS use Mayan Temples because an Ancient Mormon Temple has never been found, Ever! Mormons have no idea what one looks like, so why not Hijack Mayan temples.
The Mormon Lie continues to decieve the World.............
Interesting video, but like the comment underneath, I'm not sure what it confirms... even if it became evident to everyone that crossings could have been made, you don't have any evidence that they were. But I appreciate that this encourages those who already believe or want to believe in Mormonism. Have a good one!
This is just a stab in the dark. This is not evidence it's called coincidence. There are still a mountain of problems with Smith's descriptions of the New World.-K

Yes we certainly do have evidence as Sorenson has shown. You ignore it, and then pretend it's not there. That does not make it go away.
