@mholliday254 Because Kirby's Dream Land for the Game Boy is the first Kirby game for Nintendo, so they gave him the copy ability until Kirby's Adventure for the NES, which started the copy ability.

Actually, Kirby Super Star Ultra is actually a remake of Kirby Super Star on the SNES which got remakes of Kirby Adventure (both the NES and GB) on it.

Ah yes, back when Kirby was white. Most people don't know that this was the first game. Nes game didn't come out until 1993.

Actually, on the Japanese box art for Kirby's Dreamland (Hoshi no Kirby) Kirby is pink. Kirby was pink from the beginning.

I think they made Kirby white in North America due to Kirby's in-game whiteness, and of course due to the perceived lack of appeal among AMERICAN kids for cute pink characters.

It's been forever but there was a very simple code for extra lives at the title screen. It was like hold down and select. Cant remember the exact code but it was simple like that.

This game is fun :) And very easy. Only at the vinyl boss i couldn't figure out how to beat it (in my past when i was a kid tho :P) At later age the game again, and it was pretty easy once you know :D
