this is a beautiful prayer, I have a dear 91.5 year old man, who is in hospital with this condition, and it makes me so sad, please say a prayer for all elderly people who have no one to love or take care of them. In the meantime I will go on caring Blessings to all who have dementia or alzheimer's and to their families. Love Yvonne x
@ymgrant1 I made this for my late Aunt Dot,. She passed away two years ago this October. Sadly we lost her several years earlier to Alzheimer. It is so sad.

I just spent last week visiting my Aunt Dot who has Alzheimer's and it was so devastating. Two weeks ago my cousin put her on the phone, she said she wished she could come up and see me. I told her that I was coming down and she was excited. One week later she was so bad she could not put a sentence together, and is skin over bone. She is in a nursing home and for the majority of the time she can't feed herself. She was also recently diagnosed with lung cancer.
The Alzheimer's Assoc. posted this on their site. Sorry to hear about your mom. My Aunt Dot has Alzheimer and I dedicated this to her and my cousin who has been taking care of her. She is now in a nursing home.

The Alzheimer's Assoc. posted this on their site. Sorry to hear about your mom. My Aunt Dot has Alzheimer and I dedicated this to her and my cousin who has been taking care of her. She is now in a nursing home.
