so, that means nothing. tony stewart won an IRL championship in 1997. and he won 33 times and got 2 championships w/ a super bowl winning football coach. AND now he is the first winning car owner/driver since 1998 AND is leading the points, the first time an owner/driver has since 1992.

Wow , again 1:20. Newman caught Montoya's back left corner and got Montoya loose. That caused Montoya to slip up ino Sauter causing the accident. Period. Please respond back.

Either way Newman is a much better driver than Montoya , and always will be better than him. Montoya can hardly make it in NASCAR with the best equipment, NASCAR is the top series in motorsports right now. If he can't do squat there why would anyone else want anything to do with him, regardless of his "resume"

It doesnt matter what a magazine said, it is not a matter of opinions, it is a matter of facts. You just compare how many people around the world follow Formula 1 vs how many follow nascar and you got the answer. Or how many different countries are involved, nascar is only US, Formula 1 is worldwide.

OK, north America then, In the UK Formula 1 is more popular, as in the rest of the world. Dont get me wrong, nascar is good, is just not the "top" series in motorsport. It is the top series in stock car racing, thats for sure, but thats it.

its the top series that is not an " open wheeler ". if you wer to include all motor sports, formula 1 is the highest evel of motor sport, they would easily beat one of these cars and formula 1 is the richst sport on the planet.
and also, do nascars only race on ovals or do he have race circuits like in f1

They do run on "circuits" or road courses. All in choice of words, I understand what you are saying, but an F1 car isn't meant for something like Daytona. A NASCAR would beat an F1 car on one of their tracks, and vice versa for F1. You know what I mean?

1. at 1:17, newman had lots of space to go left/right. he had 3-4s to see montoya go left. 3-4s is an eternity by race driver's standards.
2. newman was too far behind to rightly claim his space alongside montoya. montoya rightfully closed the door on him. cars behind have no business messing up cars in front
4. newman should really have lifted the gas slightly.
5. i can't see how montoya is aggresive in this move. in fact, he was making space for car no 70
