how to recolor and edit sonic sprites

For the 10000 time how do you recolor with the eraser i can't do it !!!!!

@IIISpriterIII Using the eye dropper tool. Left click the color you want to replace. Right click the color you want to replace with after selecting the eye dropper tool again.

Then right click and hold until all of the shades of that certain palette are changed to the desired color.

Click on the Eraser you press Control (Crtl) and the Big + buttion on the Side on the Keybord to make it bigger and it works for any other tool It's REALLY cool! and you can make it as BIG as you want! ^3^ Hope it worked!

I know how to use the paint, but how do you do the shading thing, when i try it just dose a big square. how do i do it?

@Seltro1 you use the colour tool thing (i don't know what its called) and you left-click the shading or the colour you want to change on the sprite, then u get the colour you want to change it to and make sure you right click on it, then get the rubber and right-click and drag. yourwelcome! lol.

you select your eraser than you use the color thing and the you right click (it should go back to the eraser ) the eraser should be colourd , now left click on a white, blank space then select a color, now your off

How do i rub two colors on a sprite useing RIGHT-Click the eraser?!? I NEED SO MUCH HELP!!!!!!

left click the lightest color that u wont to change then right the lightest color you want it to be then mid dark then the darkest

easy man ^^ first you LEFT CLICK on the color you want replaced and with a RIGHT CLICK you take the color you want to have and then you hold the RIGHT CLICK and go over the color you chose on left and that´s it ^^

now, u should have 6 colors not including shoes and eyes ( u use the same method as i will tell u)use the baster and LEFT CLICK on the original color ( darkest shade of orange)and then use the baster and RIGHT CLICK on the darkest shade of red. NOW, click on the eraser and hold down RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON and rub it all over tails. do the same for the next darkest shade of orange w/ next drkest shade of red, and for lightest shade of orange and red. do same for eyes/shoes or w.e. HOPE THIS HELPS

if u want to channge that too). then, for changing the orange, come up with a main color, like red. make a rectangle of it for later use. then, take the red and make two lighter shades of it, and make rectangles for later use.

OK. first make the pallete of colors on the original sprite by using the turkey baster thing (for tails u put the baster on all three of his shades of orange and make rectangles of them for later use, and u can do the same for his shoes and eyes and stuff
