@lilyrose128 Yeahh. I made this a couple years ago and it was my friend who decided she wanted a say in it as well, and I couldn't say no. :P So in all honesty, it was just gonna be a Dragonheart tribute, cause I agree with you that Eragon didn't follow the book at all. It was pretty terrible tbh.
i liked the way they done saphira, but the movie done the book no justice. considering it was the directors first time directing (he done speciall effects before) it was a good try. and i dont think that saphira was out of proportion either, she wasnt too bulky nor was she too skinny. although she could have been a bit fatter.
Gay Movie someone should start a canpaign to restart the eragon movie and get soemone who doens't suck balls in directing acting and writing but keep the people who did the animation for saphira it was pretty decent. it was the only thing that made the movie from being completly unbearable to watch but i think they should shorten her wings and neck and make her body and head more bulky. she just looked a little to weak for a dragon. like she is a anorexic dragon.
no I think they did a poor job with her as well. Aside from what you mentioned, which doesn't bug me at all, is the way they gave her feathery wings. Yuck! And the way they made her just suddenly grow to full size by flying through a lightning storm? That had to be about the dumbest part of the whole movie. Or a close second maybe.

well it never wreally showed him die but that was a small part to the list of things they did to turn a totally awesome book into a totally gay medieval star wars version of eragon. eragon was blonde in the movie but he is clearly said to have brown hair. and what the fuck was up with that gay scene of saphira magically transforming from a 2 ft long dragon into a 25ft long dragon would it have been that hard to a montage to show the passage of time.
in the majority of the media (atleast what i've seen) dragons are made out to be killing monsters who noone likes. in dragonheart, draco is more symbolic.

If dragons existed, it would be in ancient times, like the middle ages. Back then, people only had swords, shields, bows, catapults, etc. to protect themselves. Yes, modern warfare might have worked, but maybe you should read up a bit more on dragons before making an accusation like that.
Sorry if I'm being a pest, but I don't exactly like people coming up and screaming, "Death to the dragons!" on a tribute where it's a tribute for two dragons that people love...
and, Dragon scales are only as tough as Diamonds. If you look in Eldest, Eragon was able to hack and break through Thorn's scales without magic, only his sword.

Eragon the movie sucked, everything was shit im with RICHIEandFRIENDS in this the 3 books so far are excellent but they cant really make make the second book into a movie. I've had my copy of Eragon since 2003, and I haven't even read it that many times! I've read Eragon about five times, Eldest about three times and I'm on my first re-read of Brisingr, so that'll make two when I'm done.
i think it would be better if you change the picture all the times between Dragonheart and Eragon instead of just half Dragonheart and half Eragon. But that's just my opinion.
Yeah... the movie definitely did NOT live up to the name of the book. The book is amazing, and they had to ruin it with the movie... I still decided to base the video on the film for two reasons:
1) My friend wanted to;
2) There's not really any illustrations for Eragon... fanart, sure, but not enough to fit the standard of the video.
I would have based this on the book, but as for the reasons listed above, I didn't.
The movie didn't suck, but it was awful compared to the book.

Hes just a standard dragon, with an up grade. Standard dragons didnt have wings but he does so hes a little upgrade. hope that helped =)

A smart dragon could tear down a country.

1) the movie RUINS the book. Just the thought that it even tries to compare to the book, makes me MAD. They skipped over SO MUCH!
2) The acting, SUCKS!
3) Urgals are portrayed as humans. THEY AREN'T HUMAN! THEY'RE BEASTS!
4) I HATE them for making the movie. They won't be able to make Eldest because they left out key components out of Eragon, the movie.
5) I'm done ranting. Been holding that in since Eragon came out, LOL.
