I would like it if the Vietnamese singers actually translate the lyrics, but they didn't. They just take the melody and write their own lyrics and the lyrics is meaningless compare to the Chinese version. Like the song "Snow-Like Hair" b Jay Chou, Andy Quach took the melody and wrote the stupidest love lyric. The Chinese lyric of "Tinh Don Phuong 2 " isn't so good, but Jay Chou's "Snow-Like Hair" lyrics is great! Andy Quach should have translated it sentence for sentence.

I have translate at least 50 chinese songs already, and let me tell you, they are all better than the Vietnamese lyrics. They are as good as the lyrics in those Vietnamese classic 70s-80s songs. The lyrics are meaningful and very poetic.

Unfortunately, most of the lyrics they wrote was note impressive compare to the original. They just wrote some stupid love lyrics that is meaningless and be done with it. For example, why did the girl cheat on them or left them all by themselves. And that's in nearly everyone song I've heard. A lot of the time the actually Chinese lyrics doesn't talk about that, but rather something more meaning.
