  • sur ce coup on a eu beaucoup de chance faut dire que le GHANA etait nettement superieur mais comme l'on le dit tres souvent le football n est pas une science exacte!!!!!

  • Why is everybody keep saying if abedi had played?? We would never know, trust me im Ivorian n a fan of abedi pele, but it's a team sport, Ghana had many chances to score n they didn't! It was a great game n thanx for the video....memories

  • @xpankky i agree we dominated the game for 90 minutesbut did not score. i we were waiting on Abedi to come and score those chances for us. i remember this game but i was very very young at that time

  • if abedi had played that game.....

  • I could still remember this match. Was a kid then n was routing 4 Cote d'ivoire cos Ghana knocked Nigeria out in d semi-final. Truth b told, dt was the best Ghanaian team i've ever seen with players likeAbedi Pele, Nii Odartey Lamptey, Edward Ansah, Anthony Yeboah. They were very unlucky to have lost that final as they were d best team of d tournament.

  • hard luck Ghana!

  • Nii lamptey!!

    What a Player

  • this was like years ago nobody cares but that is sad . ..

  • Wow, Cote using green jerseys.......

  • Malgré le Roi Abedi Pelé n'est pas jouer le Final CAN!!!Il pouvrait faire la difference dans cet match,le football en afrique pour toujours c'est Abedi Pelé!

    Bacar Sanhá,from Guinea-Bissau and live in Lisbon(Portugal)

  • The Ivorian team won the cup without conceeding any goal!

  • if Ivory coast can almost never win an African cup of nations than why do people think they are such a threat in the world cup.

  • This is the only time Ivory Coast won the Cup of Nations. Tony Baffoe made lots of Ghana fans sad that day.

  • Edward Kwaakye and Joe Lartey broadcasting. Probably the most memorable African Cup of Nations tournament.

  • I'd say it is. And unfortunately that's what Tony Bafoe is well known for- his penalty miss.

  • This was far from gr8 but sadly Angola 2010 won't be like that, big teams have qualified to the 2010 WC and that's what matters. Ghana 2008 was a gr8 1,with Egypt crushing every team in its way :D

  • that's otto fister lol

  • Wow nice pele.

  • Y'a rien a dire c'est l'un de mes meilleurs souvenirs du pays. Wow!!! j'ai encore des frissons. Et le pauvre Tehi Joel, chance pour lui que nous avons gagne.

  • Otto Pfister was the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!!!! man i love that coach! check the trouser level on his waist, lol...

  • One of The brightest days of my life. Ghana dominated the whole game but it was written... I still remember that last save by Gouamene. We didn't go to school the next two days (monday and tuesday) !!

  • Wow...I remember that tournament. We Egyptians had really fancied our chances, especially with Cameroon not fielding their top players, yet we disappointed badly and left in the very first round .Then I expected Nigeria to win after their terrific performances at the first round, but they were knowcked out by Ghana, which just exploded in the Nigeria game. Eventually CIV won the penalty marathon to lift the cup

  • Probably the greatest nations cup final in history, the recent meeting between these teams was probably the best third place match that i have ever seen in the nations cup

  • Go beat off to a Hitler documentary. Peace of shit cracker.

  • black stars out of this world

  • I was 10 years old and I remember cursing on Prince Polley Opoku when I was watching.

Apart from the fact that he was an on and off player, he was a trouble maker as well.

  • yo, great vudeo. brings back memories.

  • its good

  • Stop wasting everyone's time and get a life mate.

  • yes yes ghana is the best fuck of the rest

  • i love this. i was lyk just 3 but i remember so well. so sad we lost. :(

  • Sad memories

  • man, that makes me wanna cry, if only abedi pele had been in the game. what a shame.

but i think ghana has a good to win the ANC 08

  • I was young then, but that tournament was the best ever. Please, can you do us favour by posting the semi-final as well? Ghana Vs Nigeria?

Where is Prince Poku Polley Now? anyone knows? I once saw someone afar like him at Anzualegui Airport in Venezuela; I wasn't sure.

  • yeah Yeboah was a good player, a god almost

  • are u dumb, no one is god except god

  • man, thanks for ruining my day (lol), this defeat, well, i wouldn't call it a defeat, it went to penalties , is still fresh in my mind. I was in Secondary school, and after the match, we were suppose to go for supper, no one could ever eat, still painful for me.

But hey we beat them in 2 years in Tunisia, with that Yeboah volley.

    thanks for the history though

  • Ivory Coast Cote d'ivoire aller les Elephants on va gagner la can 2008 comme en 1992........... thanks for posting this and who do yo think is going to win the 2008 african nations cup
