People are always creating new "ways" to explain how things work around them. It is only human nature. I believe that there is no "definite" answer to explain everything. Yet, I strongly believe that there is no "beginning" to the universe or any other parallel universe. But, this does not mean that it was created out of nothing. It means that it was here an indefinite time ago and will last an indefinite time in the future. Still, it's quite interesting to think about. Limit reached. :D
It really bothers me that this kind of stuff is being passed along as science. At this stage in the game string theory is not even a scientific hypothesis because it is infalsifiable and nondemonstrative. It is a brilliant and creative idea, which has interesting consequence if it is true, but currently it does not carry any validity.
I think the further down the rabbit whole we go We'll eventually come back round again.Where eventually we'll find the universe we are living in inside one of the subatomic particles we are investigating. Therefore there is no beginning or end just an endless loop.Everything exists within itself.Think about it.
i find it interesting that scientists keep shrinking or expanding the situation whenever they get stuck. whith string theory, there just answering something by assuming theres something smaller. or with the big bang, they just thought of something even bigger to explain for what happened, branes. i'm not saying this is either right or wrong, but i'm wondering when this is going to end. how can we possibally test all these claims when they just keep getting smaller or bigger?
it never ends imo, we just take more information and grow smarter, but no matter how large our brains evolve there will always be myteries for us to ponder, that's how life is. You can never know everything and life is infinite.
Religion does the same thing, it just fills every one of those things with "god" and ends the story there. Clearly doing nothing to explain where god came from... why is it that the universe can't have unanswered questions, but god somehow can just exist from nothing for no reason?
hmm, the whole big bang theory mixed with M-theory must be driving scientists crazy. They can't imagine a universe without an end or beginning.
But, I wonder if they're struggling with this because they are under the false assumption that time is a dimension--that time is something real.
If there were no motion through space, would we still have a concept of time? I don't think so; time is an artificial concept we created for reference points and comparisons.
@56jmoney No it isn't a good idea. certainty in time is what allows energy to fluctuate. Forgeting about time would simply be a failed atempt to ignore one of the problems.
okay, but then what are clocks? "they measure time". but that doesn't answer anything does it? this arguement could go back and forth without going anywhere.
something to think about that i dont know why that dont even mention: they think that our "big bang" is a result of two other branes carrying universes crashed together doesnt trouble me, there could of been one hundred collisions before that that made up all the previous bangs. does that mean that there originally two branes carrying universes and where did they come from. there doesnt have to be a beggining but if there was where and how did the first two come into existence?
That is were god and religeon takes over, but i wont go into that for fear of starting a series of comments about budism and christianity and stuff, i know someone will, but i dont wat to start it
Yea i agree with you i just didnt want to start a flame fest and get everyone mad at each other. the comment was for someone like you who already knew the answer. nice bro
I'f the force of gravity is escaping through higher dimensions... could we feel the effect of gravitrons entering our membrane?

These scientists could be playing a huge joke on us and we'd never know the difference.
"Strings and branes?! 11 Dimensions?! And they believed it!!! AHAHAHAHA!!!"

You don't want to call this religion? Okay, fine, but please don't insult science by calling it that.

so, if the membranes created the big bang and the universe, so who created the membranes?

These are some insane, crazy, ludicrous, extreme, fanatical, outragerous but yet brilliant, amazing, stunning and beautiful ideas!

I think this is where science and religion colide. God probably set off the big bang

Do you have anything to base the probabliy off of?

@hakesho You SHOULD be embarrassed for your laughable talents with the English language. Your "writing" is neanderthal...

it would cool to communicate with aliens via gravity. We would send them a hell of gravity wave to greet :P

@Airfresh0 Well string theory has already hit both limits, so it already has.

Isn't it interesting to observe that the scientists end up with the same conclusion that many have about religon: 'it doesn't make sense'.
Isn't it great that no matter what our approach to Truth, Knowledge, and Understanding, mysteries remain?
In joy!

It may be beneficial to discard our assumption of the existence of "time" for this area of physics.

that whole time thing is interesting. could time just be something that humans thought of? what is time? there really is no good defenition of it.
Airfresh0 2 years ago
I have a good definition of time: What clocks measure. Haha :)

Airfresh0 2 years ago
that's what i hear, time is needed but does not exsist, no one but humans use time
crazydonutz 2 years ago
@crazydonutz Well there is every other living thing.
And several laws of physics require time.
SuperMerlin100 1 year ago
@56jmoney Actually if we look at FACTs gravity and the speed of light only exist because of time.
The other 3 fundimental forces of nature all require time.
