Boost pay as you go is a better deal because its only ten cents a minute. compared to tracphone you need to get the 40 dollar 200 minute card to get it doubled with the stupid double minute gimmick to get a 10 cent a minute deal.

on Boost you can add as little as ten dollars to your account and get 100 minutes.

I have been using a Motorola W376g with Tracfone for several years and it is a great phone. However I am at the point that I would like a phone with a MP3 player and a video recorder as well as the feactures in the W376g such as the Motorol W408g, but Tracfone does not have this phone. I am considering switching to AT&T GoPhone $2 a day plan for unlimited text and unlimited talk.

Tracfone fills a need in the market. They are the cheapest and best option for people who do not use the phone a lot and who do not want to spend a lot of money on a smartphone. To say that Tracfone sucks is wrong. Thay do not fill your specific need, so you will have to get an unlimited plan if you want unlimited texting.

@flamingo537 In theory the fill a need in the market. In practice they screw their customers! Last week Tracfone made my SIM card unregistered (completely their mistake).

I waste nearly two hours on the phone with the service center and a Supervisor that accomplished nothing. I was supposed to be sent a new SIM, but have not received it, or even heard back from them. I missed calls on F*****G CHRISTMAS! I've already filed a complaint with the FCC.

I have been trying to convince my mom to switch my dad over from his verizon phone to a tracfone because he only uses it when he goes on business trips, but I think she is scared of the whole prepaid thing, hopefully when I show her your video, she will be convinced, thank you very much!

The Tracfone phones have come a long way since this video was made and with the double minutes for life plan has dropped the call costs down 'till its the cheapest deal in the States by a long shot!! The American public have woken up to the savings to be made on prepaid and are joining Tracfone in their millions!

i so agree with cocostreidom. tracfone has a phone and a fitting plan for anyone. rich or poor, tracfone will have a solution and plan for anyone's needs. i have been with tracfone for quite a while now, and i am very happy with my cheap phone and plan. i am not poor, but i do not need a fancy phone, nor do i make lots of calls. happy with tracfone's reliable nationwide cover too. happy all around

These Tracfone plans are getting cheaper and cheaper by the month - I just don't get surprised anymore because it's just how Tracfone operates - but we all know that this T105G with all its super free extra items has got to be a once in a lifetime special offer. This will make an awesome gift by the way and I would also like an earphone hands free gizmo and a carry case and car charger.

My Tracfone cell phone service costs me about $150 a year. Most people pay that PER MONTH! Its just so unreal that more people have not transferred over. I think its their “FEAR “ of prepaid phones. That’s just so silly because lets be honest I use my money on so many other things! And yes.. my phone works and I can talk whenevever wherever.

Going through the comments on this video it is amazing to see the positive things that people have to say about Tracfone and the comments date back to over a year. Tracfone really has been an excellent proveder for me - no dropped calls and the service is great not to mention the bonus of double minutes!

Not everyone is able to afford the best phones. Still, Full bars, no contracts and no extra chargers. Those are the three biggest things I worry about in a cell phone provider and Tracfone really delivers on all three fronts. I’ve never had a problem with the service and I’m getting a few for friends over the Holidays. I know they can try it out and just ditch it if they don’t like it, but I'm sure they'll love the savings.

The Motorolla is a really great little phone it is slimline and fits into my pocket just find. The added bonus is that it is a Tracfone and there are free minutes that are given when purchasing minutes. For example, if I buy 60 minutes then I actually get 120 minutes - This is really an inexpensive phone to have.

This is a great phone on tracfone! I've had mine for about 6 months and I love the games tetris is some awesome old school and sudoku is great too, but my favourite things about this phone are the awesome coverage with tracfone and the awesome battery life!

Here's some advice for buying minutes. Buy the 200 min. card instead of the 120 min. card because if you have double minutes on your phone you get 160 more minutes for only $10 more. The 120 min. card is $30 and the 200 min. card is $40. Double those minutes, do the math, and avoid the mistake I made!!! Also look online for promo codes!!!

Thanks for a great review. This is a perfect, simple phone that does all a phone should: make calls and send texts. I carry an iPod and camera if I want to listen to music or take pictures, using Tracfone then saves me almost $80 a month compared to what I was paying before. Its a great service and great value for money.

I have this phone. It is NOT for phone "junkies" (Low esteem morons always seeking validation of their existence through a pretense of long distance 'friendships' with people they hardly know - staying......'connected'.) This phone is for a person who is pragmatic in regards to reasonably priced COMMUNICATION. With few "bells & whistles", this is a very nice phone. It has many options and is CHEAP. If you want to diddle your life away on your cell....buy a $300 to $500 phone.

tracfone is a no brainer with double minutes, i use my phone alot and need signal all the time, tracfone has signal all the time. I have used a contract phone most of my life and when you use your phone like i do you will understand how cheap this is.

I am so stressed out right now, because I was on the phone with tracfone today for 2hours and 10minutes trying to transfer minutes to a new phone. And this was not the first time I had to call. I called three times, about 45 min the first time, and about an hour 30minutes the second time. FUCK TRACFONE

seriously if you want to talk a lot get a plan. with no deal if you just spend 30 for a new tracfone like above you get 20 minutes. if you buy a card any size it doubles. so for 1000 minutes for 80 bucks (450card times 2 + 100 bonus minute code). I got my wife 1800 and it lasted her 8 months. free voicemail,call id...and they use all the cell towers verizon and att use. So, you get one heck of a deal. I used to pay over 200 a month for 3 phones with verizon.
