Though less "flight of feet" than his 1929 recording for Columbia, I have always liked this version as well. Two very different interpretive sides to Mengelberg who was an endlessly fascinating conductor. Thank you for posting this. I hope you can post more by Mengelberg, especially any live performances by the Dutch composers he championed like Dopper and etc.

@7845lptape I just posted Mengelberg - Dopper: Ciaconna Gotica. Hope you like it. The CD of Mengelberg conducting works of Dutch composers doesn't seem available so I'll post this for you and maybe some things I like off the album. You may have the CD, it's good to support those who produce these transcription albums.
