Troy Smith has shown more poise in 2 games, than Alex has in his career. I like Alex, but you either have the ''it'' factor to play QB, or you don't. Gore is unbelievable, Crabtree is the real deal. 14 penalties for over 100 yds, 0-11 on 3rd downs, 3 TD's and an interception nullified by penalties...and still won the game. Props to the Rams for a great game, they are much improved. NINERS!!!

@2SANFRANCISCO I don't think anybody dislikes Alex as a person, and I don't think anybody questions his desire to be a good QB, but sometimes your desire outweighs your talent. Troy is the real deal. He is the first QB on this team since Garcia to have the kind of presence, heart, and winning spirit that I'm seeing here. I'm very excited.

Things didn't go so well for the Forty-Whiners in the rematch, now did they? Watching the RAMS dish out sweet revenge at home in St. Louis by eliminating the Whiners from the NFC West title contention was one of the most satisfying experiences of the season...

Although I do agree Alex is better, Troy in this game blew away anything Alex did all season,- especially after having spent almost no real time with the team. Finally a competent coaching staff in place, whoever is QB should look WAAAAYYYY better this year.
