@Xrick56 Hi, It says in the video description. You just send the money to my paypal which is philmckenna@msn.com and send me a message saying you've sent it and I'll send you the tracks. Thanks.
greetings phil. let me start by saying you are, by far, the BEST pumpkins cover drummer i have ever seen or heard. wish i could get to england or you could get to texas...lol. would pay to jam with you...lol. anyway, i would absolutely love to snag a copy of that cd. if you would, let me know how to get you a payment and i"ll get it post haste. by the way, love the cedar falls stuf. wicked. - BHD
You need more 16th notes on the kick homeboy. I am your biggest fan but I think you need to re-listen to this beat and re-record the track. There is a 2nd note on the kick you are missing. It is Jimmy basically playing double bass with one foot. I know you can do it brother!
You're absolutely right Sir! I was playing it like that but every so often I'd miss it/do it slightly out of time, so for this track I have to admit I simplified it slightly. Usually at gigs or just playing along to stuff, I'll keep it the same, but considering I was recording it for people I didn't want anyone complaining that I lost the timing from time to time so I thought I'd simply it for this just so there were no timing mistakes at all. Very well spotted. Thanks a lot.
Phil, I am as obsessed with playing Pumpkins songs on guitar as you are with the drums. I have been waiting for someone to do this forever. I NEED a copy. Tell me what to do. BTW, great job as always
Great sound! Phil i found a simple way how to upload in stereo on youtube without it being converted back to mono! Check out my new video in stereo! I have instructions in my description on how this is done! Good luck and please pass this on to fellow players
Perfect. Thanks :) I'm about to go out and buy my first electronic drum set on Friday (I'm starting to annoy the parents with my acoustic set haha). What set do you use? Jimmy Chamberlain is my favorite drummer and your videos are huge inspiration for me. How did you learn? By yourself?
Awesome. Be sure to let me know how it goes. I use a Roland TD-10. They're great kits. I love it. Yeah, I never bothered with lessons and all that crap. Just sit down and bang stuff and you get better and better. It's not rocket science. I never understand why people take lessons for years and years about "how to arrange a solo" JUST ROCK OUT!. Thanks a lot for liking the videos.
Hey Phil! Same here. I used to play guitar and piano, played in a few bands and then decided to take up drums. Drums came naturally to me, unlike everything else. Thanks heaps, I'll go check out a TD-10. Also - the backing tracks, how can I pay you for them? I want them!
It would be cool if you told me how to pay you.

Nice technique, simplify for recording. Jimmy did that well on Siamese Dream. Keep up the great work brother!
