just because you are given orders does not mean that it is morally right to follow them. each and every one of us has an inner "moral compass" and i would rather get in trouble then bring immoral harm to another human being Especially when we all have some kind of working knowledge of the Geneva Conventions. I mean they teach you that shit in school in political science. You know wot tho? none of these people, including Donald Rumsfeld would have been punished had it not been for those photos.

I have not seen the film.
But it is an attack on the whole situation
as being wrong.
If i was ordered to do such things i would tell them to stick their job where it fits, but some people are more afraid of their superiors and do what they are told.
What The soldiers did is a crime and they
should be in jaol but the ones who gave the orders, all the way from the government to the supereria officers who gave the orders should also be in prison.
The guards became scapegoats.

I find this a sick position by this man. More likely an underlying bias and prejudiced pretext. If they were blonde haired blue eyed victems I am sure his position would be different. There seems to be a subconscious bias vailed, but obvious.
