  • Its FAST! Minuet was a dance back in the days when George and Martha were married. It's slow and precise..

  • It's way too fast, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but there's no feeling in the way you play, it's all very mechanical. My professor usually says that it's awesome when you hit the right notes but it's the emotion behind it that makes it great to play a song and to listen to it. If I were you, I'd play it slower, try to feel the notes, only then you can play it faster.

  • my tuter want's me to do it with no stop at the middle ..i mean i had a little stops when am playing it so am practicing these days .. its nice really...Bach is my favorite..

  • nicee I learned this a few months ago and now i play it by heart:)

  • Lovely piece of music confidently played, and the inspiration behind the Toys hit single in 1967(?) "A Lovers' Concerto" Bach should be highly pleased that today's muzos are dipping into his back catalogue with tunes like Procul Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale" being inspired by his Air on the G String, and I'm sure there must be others....

  • very rushed, and very bad hand movement

  • i just learned this :D

  • corri troppo xD

  • Yeah you might want to slow it down but other then that it was pretty good. :)

  • hay unos problemitas de tiempo :S ylos adornos brillan por su ausencia :)

dale mas onda a la ejecucion!! mas matices!

  • dude your rushing it i am learning the exact same thing u need to take it slow cause u slow down at parts and then rush at others u need to start off as slow as every note u hit

  • is it reallt that fast..i feel like your just rushing it

  • i agree. its not bad. but it does seem a bit rushed

  • MY mom plays this song all the time!

  • didn't hear any mordents.

  • make sure you play those quarter notes staccatto lol i always lag it on that, but good job though

  • It must flow freely, but you are playing it too "tight". Plus, feel the tempo, the duration of notes, 'coz some are incorrect. Good luck.

  • It good, just keep the pace, dont go fast or slow. And it would be a little better if there was tempo :P

  • Played a while back! Brings back so many Interesting memories!

  • Further, whole passages slowed down or sped up depending (I'm guessing) on how confident he was with it.

Which really does mean... slow down, use a metronome, and work back up to the speed you want to play it at.

I guarantee if you tried to play that piece with a metronome at the quickest speed you were moving during the runs of eighth notes, you'd stumble and start over and over again.

  • He doesn't need to play it slower or faster, they need to play it with a metronome for a few days before putting up this video.

The biggest problem there were the huge deviations from proper rhythmic structure. The eighth notes should not be slightly shorter than the quarter notes; they should be half as long.

  • Hey I know this song very well maybe U should play it a bit slower. also listen to other vids of this song cos there are song parts where U should play in an other style.. but mainly seen U did a pretty good job well done;)

  • Loosen up alittle man! IT would help you play better and i think its just me but i think its a tad bit to fast.

  • cool man i know ow to play this in the flute.
