i remember reading something about Dhani wanting to grow that mustache. he wanted to, but he wasn't sure, so he asked his mom if she had any pictures of George with one. when she showed him Sgt. Pepper, he said "Oh hell, I'll look great with a 'stache!!"
Dhani nailed the music industry today - its coming apart at the seams. So many people (certainly not all) thinks that when you create a song, from that little spark that wakes you up at 3AM and you run to the piano and a recorder - that that spark, and toil that follows should be free. Is that fair? is creativity worth nothing today? And Dhani, that is such a lovely National - resonators have a wonderful sound!

George had a Liverpool accent. Dhani is an awesome legacy that his dad left behind. George would have been proud of him, I believe.
I don't know when he made this vid, but even now, it's even easier. I did my whole jazz cd on my macbook. I'm a jazz musician, and I make a decent living playing this genre, but I travel all over the place. It's not that easy having to do a late gig, and get up in the morning and having to take a flight out across the country, or worse to Europe or Asia. It's not a glamorous lifestyle at all, it's lots of work, but it's worth it if you love music. He's right you don't need a whole lot of money.

plagiarizing other people's music. Then pretended it
was "unintentional" (doesn't every criminal claim he's
innocent?). His father, who lectured us on the evils of
materialism lived in a 120-room mansion. Then bull-
dozed hundreds of environmentally sensitive trees
building his 2nd estate in Hawaii. He shut access to
the beach and got sued by his neighbors. Then, George literally SMOKED HIMSELF TO DEATH. How could
Dahni have done "worse"?

Dhani looks and sounds a lot like his dad. That's some DNA because he can play and sing - he's got the music gene. And my gosh, he seems humble too, just like his Da. Wow, that's hauntingly beautiful. I love Georgie and I'm glad he was able to make such a beautiful son w/ Olivia. God bless that family.

i remember reading something about Dhani wanting to grow that mustache. he wanted to, but he wasn't sure, so he asked his mom if she had any pictures of George with one. when she showed him Sgt. Pepper, he said "Oh hell, I'll look great with a 'stache!!"

Dhani nailed the music industry today - its coming apart at the seams. So many people (certainly not all) thinks that when you create a song, from that little spark that wakes you up at 3AM and you run to the piano and a recorder - that that spark, and toil that follows should be free. Is that fair? is creativity worth nothing today? And Dhani, that is such a lovely National - resonators have a wonderful sound!

@julyrita Hi julyrita. I agree he looks exactly like his dad. He doesn't have the same accent, though. He has a London accent, due to the fact that he was raised in London. George had a Liverpool accent. Dhani is an awesome legacy that his dad left behind. George would have been proud of him, I believe.

I don't know when he made this vid, but even now, it's even easier. I did my whole jazz cd on my macbook. I'm a jazz musician, and I make a decent living playing this genre, but I travel all over the place. It's not that easy having to do a late gig, and get up in the morning and having to take a flight out across the country, or worse to Europe or Asia. It's not a glamorous lifestyle at all, it's lots of work, but it's worth it if you love music. He's right you don't need a whole lot of money.
