i used a cheat....

boolprop testingcheatsenabled true

then shift click on a sim and choose Spawn.....Pauls Reaction Tester.

then you have to make sure that they are really good friends. have the sim you want to cry selected, then click on the thing that appeared when you selected pauls reaction tester. find Do Consable Cry on the

menu. select the sim you want to comfort the first one and click on the crying sim. the regular menu should come up but console will be there somewhere. if its not, they are not good enough friends.
