this looks great i make limoncello without the cream and looking forward to trying this. What are the measurements for the vanilla sugar as well as the milk. I've seen your recipe online and would like to know how much evaporated milk to regular milk. Also how much sugar to a vanilla bean. Thanks!
I wanted to thank you for the creme version of Limoncello. I will try your other versions using ginger and almond. I made my own creme liqueurs since the 1970's and found that all the folks on my Christmas list wanted to be on the following years lists as well. Something new to add - again thanks and looking forward to anything else you might try. As I subscribed. JoAnn
In all fairness, you can't criticize people for calling Mayer lemons "Mayor" lemons when you pronounce limoncello "LEMONcello." ;-) But thanks for the video; I am suddenly intrigued by the idea of making creme liqueurs, and I will definitely try this. :)
Vero. Mandarins as well. Not sure how well Lime would work with cream. I've also been very successful with strawberries (Crema di Fragola) and toasted almonds (Crema di Mandorle) and fresh grated ginger (Crema di Zenzero). The ginger was extraordinary.
@Evi1M4chine: lol... I know it's been two years since you left this comment, but nobody replied, so I had to: Real "vanilly sticks" ARE the beans. Vanilla is an orchid-type plant, and when the flowers turn into seed pods, the vanilla bean is what's left. Now ya know. :0)

You say you could use any kind of Lemons, but in fact, you could even use limes (Limettacello), or in fact any Citrus fruit.

Love this stuff. Great idea, but what are the measurements??
-how much regular milk? (you said "the rest, regular milk)
-how much sugar? (you said "a bag")
-how much sugar w/vanilla beans? (you said "topped off")
