I've heard of the Cassiar Route, but have never travelled the highway. I hear that if you are going to do the entire Alaska Highway, it is highly recommended to start in the US northwest and take RT37 up to the Alaska Highway compared to the traditional route.
Nice job with video/music track. I still think, beside RT 1 in CA, the Cassiar (RT 37) up to AK is the best drive in N America. Just my $.02 as always. But I drove this route all the way to Seward on my BMW cycle last year from Santa Rosa CA. Fantastic ride. No 5 star accommodations nor restaurants but that stuff is not what life is about anyway.
