People act like twilight invited vampires or something, for those who were born yesterday vampires are not made up by twilight, so if Disgaea 4 decides to use a vampire as the main character this doesn't mean they are copying them. I do expect to see countless of jabs against the saga here though.

Beautiful. The sprites look way more fluid and refined than the third. This game is going to be amazing. Really interested in the new plot like approach away from the schools into politics. May make it overall a more serious game. Also diggin' the main character's model. Awesome. Can't wait for this. Music looks like it's going to be awesome, too.

Really was a disappointment to see Disagaea 3 using essentially the same dated graphics when it was on the PS3... Really the system is so powerful that there's no reason NOT to have high resolution sprites. And I'm glad they are sticking to the 2D sprites instead of going 3D like so many other games have done... for its style it just works so much better

The only thing I fear is that I will completely lose my sense of time... again. All the previous titles were like mercieless time-devouring black holes, always hungry for more. I'd stay up all night and play until my thumbs went numb. That's how addicting the Disgaea series is.

Just an idea for the final final Disgaea game: all the netherworld from all the Disgaeas games to combine into one netherworld. And the main characters has to join forces (even if they don't want too)including their vassals and try to figure out who combined the netherworlds together. So that all their netherworlds are individuals again so they won't interfere in each others worlds. (Just an idea from a fan of all Disgaea games Nippon Ichi has to offer.)

I'm glad that they increased the resolution of the sprites in this one. It looks really sleek and clean. I remember playing Disgaea 3, and the resolution of the sprites being very similar to that of the previous games on a high resolution screen just made my eyes hurt after a while.

@tjthedoom the vampires warewolf companion plotline has been done waaay longer then twilight has i just think they'll make a parody of twilight in a scene or two. if you look at Underworld, The lost boys, Blood omen legacy of Kain (a videogame for ps1) and even the oldest vapmire media had warewolves as servents or subordinates of some kind so yeah. xD

I've read the first book and can see why people like it (I stopped there since my cousin said that the other three is more of the same.) The problem is that it's overhyped, and more importantly, there are better stuff with vampires in it. It's basically a (slightly better than generic)shoujo manga in novel format. It irks me that stuff like twilight gets popular, yet (the epic)Tsukihime (a visual novel) is obscure
