I just bought 2011 Silverado LTZ with 5.3L and fuel saving cylinder deactivation. Great truck, and handles, dare I say, like a sports car compared to Ford F-150 or Dodge Ram 1500. Dodge and Ford may have some extras that the chevy may not be offering like console shifter or heated steering wheel but don't fall for these silly features. Get the truck that just simply offers better road feel and greater confidence when driving. Get a Silverado.
chevys ride better but most oil field work trucks bought in fleets are Fords because of less maintenence. Fords are built Texas tough. and thats a fact. Chevys look and ride better but the cost to maintain them is expensive.

just bought a 2011 crew cab 4wd LT,had 68 miles on it,love the way it rides and looks,now if i can figure out how to work all the electronic shit and get used to parking it life will be perfect.btw,im old school and do not trust on the fly 4WD,[i know you still have to go to neutral for 4L]
Bought a brand new 2011 Silverado crew cab back in May. I love the truck but the damn thing broke already. The machanic said the fuel pump module was bad, hopefully that would be the last of it.
@Tungsten23 Thats wrong chevy warrranty are better than RAM,Toyota and ford. the best truck is chevy. toyota are bad. Fords break easy my dad bought a 2011 ford f-150 and the engine over heated.Rams just sound good there under power from all the weight. slow....................................CHEVY are the best trucks. They work hard and get good gas mileage Chevy all the way long live the bowtie!

this truck has no room and road noise is ridicules i got into one(2011) with the crew cab. i sat in the driver seat and adjusted it to my comfort spot and then i got in the back leaving the drivers seat alone and i am 6'2 and i could not fit the back, my knees where pinned into the drivers seat and my head was pinned to the ceiling.and it was a 35000 dollar truck i said ford next and i was sold to ford ton of leg and head room and very little road noise and same price. GO FORD......
The guy really dont sound all that excited about the truck. He is trying to make the truck look good, but deep down inside he really dont like it.. I dont blame him, chevys are over priced and they never seem to upgrade that 10 year old interior.

Tundra has alot of issues with Engine Sludge and Rusting Frames. And a weak C-section between the bed and Cab.
Silverado is Practical and very usefull.
If you want cheap, get the tundra.
If you want a 3 year warranty get a Ford
