  • youtube people are much better then my actual teachers

  • @TheJDCooper1997 He is a teacher..

  • @TheJDCooper1997 I agree. v.v my teachers try to make everything sound extra confusing so we think they are smart and gain respect for them, when in reality I'd have so much respect for them if they actually taught me how to solve a problem without me having to ask the interwebs.

  • what grade would learn this stuff? i am eigth grade and i am just wondering

  • To clear things up, you multiply the radius by 2 to get the circumference???

  • @JonasBrothersVideos4 Yes you multiply the radius by 2 and also by Pi.

  • im gr.8 and it was kinda hard to understand because you do not organize your work on the board. (just a suggestion)

  • Im In 9th Grade And I Needed This To Pass My Class.

    Thanks Man.

  • thx... been watching and learning to ur video

Quite useful and much better explanation...

  • Should I use the same step s to find the surface area of cylindrical grain silo with hemispherical top?

  • For the cylindrical grain silo with hemispherical top you would use add the lateral area of a cylinder (the rectangular part in my video) to the surface area of a hemisphere (which would be half the s.a. of a sphere). What I'm not sure of is if you should include one circle for the base, that would depend on the given information in the problem you are solving. If the base of the silo is just going to be dirt, and you want to know how much material is needed to build the silo, then no.

  • @BabelMath i know this video is like 2 years ago, but i have a question, on 3:28, how did u get 25? sorry im only 12 lol

  • @myworldhasmusic he did the radius of the cylinder(5) and squared it because the formula pi r 2

  • @legocloneking ohh! wow thanks! xDD

  • =_= I'm just 1st yr high school..... TT^TT

  • freshman!
