Horse riding. The dangers, why we do it and a tribute to fallen riders.x

I am 11 years old, and have been riding since the age of 4. I got my first pony (who i still own) in June 2011 and i love him to bits. And in the short time ive had him, hes kicked me, hes bit me, hes trampled my head (wasnt knocked out just had a little cut and onlly had to be glued) and my first fall was off of him in the 6 weeks 2011 and he bolted on a hack and i fell in stinging nettles. Even though this happened, i still ride him! i love him to bits. I will never give up!i do dressage tho x

how did you find out about these people?

my first competition was at age 3. I have had my fair share of falls, I still ride, train, and compete though! Some of the worst: 2100+ lbs belgian draft falling on me, being dragged on a trail through gravel and water, getting kicked, being run over by a running horse, squished between a horse and a wall, galloping and hitting my knee on a badly placed fence post resulting in me flying backwards off of my horse and having my left knee busted open... etc.

I love my horses and will always ride.

not sure that I see partnership... or love for the horse in the competing accidents. Very sad!

ive been riding for 13 or 14 years, idk lost count, and i have been close to death five times now, i have never given up, and im proud to say that, but it is upsetting when i see young people, sometimes younger than me that die, died doing something i do every day, its a scary thought, but then i think, if im going to die, i want it to be while im doing something i lvoe, and everyone says they think ill die riding a horse ha :)

good to remember old friends and new

as as still watch over us in all that we do

when a person or animal passes away the spirit within is realeased it rises from the body till it reaches the clouds as stays thier till a a lost sole in the form of a bird flies through it

catches the spirit and brings it back down

so if you really miss that person or pal

go sit in that garden and feed the birds too

for that spirit or person you miss so much will come to reasure you in the form of bird xxx
