I have Undead Nosferat unit (guild master) level 28. I only buffed him with armor potions. I killed 3 capitals in one round, playing in Magic Lord mode. I only used HIM in the party, no other unit. You guys are suckers

i killed the guardian of undead,playig with empire(pegas guy) i had my hero lvl 14, healer girl lvl 9 she healed for about 70-80 my army or so,(with all armor buffs from empire spellboock) and a lot of potions.also i had two inquisitors 17 lvl,assasin 12 lvl and mage 9 lvl.I finished him with full hp, he damaged less than healed my girl.

In the disciples 2 dark prophecy, dwarves can conquer the capital without paralyze, but uther with fireballs (and with doppelganger just for safety) can also destroy the capital. Best way to wait until the enemy buy a hero, coz then he not leave so many guys in the castle.

@MajorObvious Actualy its much easier to kill them as Empire cause of the healer, all u need is roughly 60 armor (same as undead to survive initial attacks). The only problem with Empire it takes a while if you dont have imperial assassin with ya...

I think the easiest race to conquer the capital are Elves with the exploring leader (the one with the bow) equipped with petryfying and polymorph artifacts (other troops can be 100% random) The leader has a high initiative and strikes first (can strike any unit on the field in the first turn) so you can petrify and/or polymorph the guardian in first turn which makes it impossible for him to cause any damage. But killing the guardian is possible with any race - just needs the propper tactics.

the effect is pretty much the same, however the source is different. paralyze = mind, petrify = earth. which means creatures with immunity to mind magic won't be able to resist petrify, but will resist paralyze. petrify on the other hand is useless against creatures who are defended from Earth - Stone giants for instance

Good GODS that took forever! I tried this with Bethrezen but every time I shot their leader with the death bringing fire ball of death that brings death the paralysis was warded. It happened 5 times in the same battle. Stupid glitches. Always stopping the death bringing fire ball of death that brings death's paralysis.

Imo, the Guardians are not overpowered, this was the developer's decision, to make them incredibly difficult to kill them. I don't remember any mission which had the objective to capture an enemy's capital city, so it's up to the player's decision if he wants to get a crack at the Guardian. Anyway, nice video, thumbs up!

the easiest way to get a capital is with the empire or the undead hordes. I guess whats the case with the clans :D

I did take the capital with all race and it is possible. The clan will be hardest but with the right buff, no what, they are the fastest to take out the guardian. Look for the giant with frostbite, hurt much more than any poison.

They have no way to paralyze, petrify or heal anyway. Kill or be killed.

Legions are only race that could kill guardian with level 5 party without any spells or potions (except for one quicksilver potion, that is permanent). The catch is that you need the Claw of Bethrezen and a Soul Crystal, or Horn of Incubus (and quicksilver potion). Use this combination of units:

~Incubus~ ~Counselor~

~~~Overlord~~~

~Incubus~ ~Infernal Knight~

and give your Counselor artefacts and quicksilver, and the guardian wont get even that anoying first attack! :)

Yea of the two large units for Legions, the Gargoyle is the most convinien when upgraded to lv. 2+, the only draw back is that its easy to kill when in lv. 1.

The hardest fight I had in Disciples was when I had to go against a Dragon Lord, a black dragon, and two Elf Lord. It was crazy cuz those monsters wiped out my back row b4 I can do anything. I eventually beat it using a shyt load of spells and potions. It gave me some decent loots though.

Tactic for Undead: make Shades.

Legions: make Incubs.

i defeated mizrael with an elven hero(forest liege) level 21 if i rememver without aditional units(meaning alone) having just 2 protection potions and 2 healing ointements.But of course my hero was incredibly powerfull but without paralize or any other tricks.Anyway in the end it does not worth your while to defeat a guardian beacause is a waste of time

simply station some units near the fortress too kill all intruders that get out and you will be fine

It's actually pretty easy with legions i always conquer the capitals if i go on incubus u just have to boost it's armor or lvl to survive first attack and i boost it's chance to hit with potions to 99% and then its easy bussiness though its good to have some extra type dmg like frostbyte/poison to deal dmg faster or on legion missions it's also funny if u have uther (2,3rd missions i think on Dark Prophecy)to put doppelgangers in his party then it becomes total asskicking

i beat every single capital guardian without armour. u just need lots and lots of life potions. u go in, damage the guardian, u surrender, heal your party, and then go back, damage, surrender, heal, go back, etc. u did this like 3-4 times and i killed the guardian. u just need a lot of movment points spells.

i didnt need to ,sylph heal all team with 120 points and i used holy armor and a invincibily potion on the sylph,in all the quardian only took about 40 damage per turn.nobody on mz team died and i was playing hard mode

Yes it is possible. Their party just need to have, at least, 50 armor and that shylph must heal 120 (no less). You do de the math; capital's guards inflict 250 (unless for the clans with their novice who may increase the guard's damage), but they might (i said might because it could be a little bit more or less) hit 120 per turn. Having this facts, everyone is able to conquer their enemy's capital

you must tried with at least armor +70 (unless it is a human party :p). And btw, stetay7 if you do not get the spells at the first try then you should do it once again (Trust me ive donde this before ) or until you got the spells :p

it's "blister" effect... it's like frostbite but fire element.. he do have that ability, look at his status at the beginning of the video.
