  • Your hair is gorgeous, thank you for the video.

  • wow your hair is nice but i was just wondering what is your hair type and also ive been puting this eco styling gel in my hair and it make my hair hard and i have to twist to make my hair wavier

  • I bought the Kinky Kurly line and never used it. I finally decided to give it a try and foremost I luv the smell of the products. The custard I felt like eating it. I did two strand twist and I'm now waiting for tomorrow to see the results. I will keep u posted.

    Great video!!!

  • hi where you applying leave conditioner at 1:04.Also how long does the kccc style last for.thanks

  • love your hair now i have a perm but im letting it grow out my ends are still slightly permed do i need to have the perm fully out in order for it to look like your's?

  • I'm so excited and I can not wait to train my hair to do this .. In the shop right now about to get a few pieces of relaxer cut out my hair.. So excited thanks!!!!

  • i love the results your hair is so cute, how do you maintain it during the week? what do you do with your hair when you go to bed and how do you revive it in the morning?

  • This is awesome! I had given up on the "Sticky" Curly Curling Custard, but watching your video makes me want to get it out of the PJ cabinet today on wash day! Thanks, curl-friend!

  • I tried really hard no to like kinky curly but after this video I gave it my best and people on the subway were asking me what did I use. I really like it. I don't like Knot Today, my hair felt extra coarse and dry after use, but I am afraid to substitute anything else. My hair laughs at Eco- styler thank goodness it was cheap enough to throw away. I refresh my curls with water and a little Aloe Vera gel and it just kept looking better & better. I just flick the curls shaking hurts by head.

  • Your hair is so cute I'm going to buy this tomorrow n try it

  • great video! i use the products and after 2 days if my hair needs refreshing i use the spriral spritz it smells great and defines the curls really well again

  • Ur vid was MOST helpful in instructing me how to us KK. I've been using for abt 3 months and it's one of the best products I've used on my hair so far. Th- Ankhs for making this vid!!!

  • it look so cute

  • Yes! Your hair does look very cute :)

  • very pretty =)

  • i use kinky curly knot today as well as kinky curly custard and i love it - i also use water to revive my curls in the mornings - however my daughter applies the product for me - now after watching your video i am going to start doing my own hair!!

    THANK YOU for this video!

  • I've watched this video twice. I just did the big chop after 1year without a perm. I haven't received the look I want yet. Maybe this will work.

  • Thank you thank you, I tried KCCC this weekend and the first time it didn't work out, but when I tried your technique of putting in the conditioner with KCCC, it came out beautiful:)

  • My hair is about your length and I bought the kcc last night ....... I quess I'll try it ! I'm always following you ! lolololol

  • im going natural and ive been without a perm for about 2 months . i have alot of new growth but i still have the straight pieces , will the curling custard will work in my hair ?

  • @princesscj7 It will only curl the new growth. If your ends are not dead straight and have a slight curl left in them then your ends may curl a little but not as much as the new growth.

  • you never used a comb...

  • @princesscj7 Nope, didn't need to. Sometimes combs can break up your curls instead of helping to create them.

  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I agree with the many of the things everyone has already said, but I wanted to thank you personally for bringing me steps closer to finding what's right for my hair and these products :)

  • omg thank you soooo much!!! you helped me deal w/ so many problems I was having w/ those products. THANK YOU

  • fabulous!!

  • Excellent. i will try this kinky curly curling custard. love how the defined look came out and the process

  • I am just 2 weeks natural and have been looking for someone with my hair. Thank you so much for sharing!

  • This is such a helpful video...I really needed to see this...Thanks for sharing..you hair looks beautiful!! Thanks girl....much love

  • thank you so much for this video on how to apply. I have been searching for someone that had my texture of hair and my hair length. you have helped me out so much .. now I can finally use this product. Thanks again .. BTW .. your hair looks awesome .. I hope I achieve similiar results.

  • I like this. Thanks for the tips. As Black women we need to be how we were created. Thanks for sharing.

  • this video is cool!

  • thats pretty

  • you hair is beautiful

  • I love this video. Your process is very easy and you finished product is gorgeus!!!

  • Looks real cute.

  • Thanks so much for posting this video. It was very helpful. I've only been natural for 5 months but I'm loving the journey. I see that I was using absoultely to much product...my hair was so sticky. Can I ask, what is your hair texture and appro. how long did it take for your hair to grow to the length seen on this video. Thanks very much.

  • @stephyeargin It is mostly 4a and it was a little short of 1 year to get to the length in the video.

  • I loved this video!! It was very helpful because I was adding too much of the product and my hair was so sticky. Can I ask, how long from the time you cut your hair did it take to grow at the length shown on the video? and secondly, what is your hair texture? I'm fairly new to this...did the big chop 5 months ago. Thanks so much.

  • this is how long my hair is now! I love it...i'm going to try this

  • Hey, I seen your vid and decided to give my KCC a try again. I did it using your technique and it turned out great! plus this time I am totally natural last time I did it was when I was transitioning. My hair holds super tight curls, it's drying rite now. I've been shaking it and it looks good so far. Do you ever have to stretch yours out? Mines is going to be extra tight, shrinkage is my friend LOL. My hair is about almost the length of yours in this video. Thanks a bunch

  • I want you to know that you have been an inspiration to me. I've been natural for over approximately 1 1/2 years now and have not been able to embrace my natural hair. Several people told me about Kinky Curly Custard, however I was not impressed with their hair. When I saw your video, I said, "WOW this is what I want my hair to look like." Once I use the products (SHOULD BE DELIVERED TODAY) I will do a video so you can see how it turned out. Kinky Curly need you on the Payroll.

  • Yooo...i love you..ive watched all your videos and very inspiring..i have hair type just like you and was puzzled whether to use kinky curly,,i have watched others as well but your's the best..so thank you..keep doing what your doing

  • Yooo...i love you..ive watched all your videos and very inspiring..i have hair type just like you and was puzzled whether to use kinky curly,,i have watched others as well but your's the best..so thank you

  • I want you to know I tried it your way and had EXCELLENT RESULTS today. THANK U, THANK U, THANK U so much!! Now do I do this everyday or just every few days u think? Also do u put shea butter on to moisturize ur hair and if u do how often? Will it create flakes? I have been natural for two years now and been using KCCC for a few months, but not using it properly. Thank u for the tips. Another great tip u did was the puff which I am going to try on Monday:) Keep it up girl! Ur the best!

  • Very nice!!!!

  • HEY I SUBSCRIBED, COMMENT AND RATE TO YOU BECAUSE I THINK YOUR VIDEOS ARE GREAT!! LOVE THEM!

  • I have been searching for a kccc application video. This is the best one! It's detailed and thorough! I'm posting this video on my blog!

  • your hair looks really good:)

  • I just used the KCCC and the KT and it didn't turn out right. I am so disappointed and I don't know what to do. Should I was it out and start over. I think I used too much KCCC. HELP!!!

  • this is my first video watching of yours. Thanks for sharing. You are gorgeous. My husband laughed at me when you came back from drying, all dolled up and I said "VaVoom" lol Lovely look.

  • nice video...I wanted to send you my Video on KCCC..

    Take care...

  • @AKIYIAKELLY I went to approve it but didn't see it.

  • I just did my video on kinky curly. My hair is much shorter. LOL

  • OMG ... that looks amazing! I have heard a lot about this product but never got around to trying it. Let me go get some this long weekend! Thanks!

  • is this your usual daily routine? my hair is like yours but shorter. Does KCCC moisturize? Do you only put KCCC or some other curl definer in your hair daily?

  • Well defined and beautiful.thanks for sharing

  • That is a great demo on how to use the product. Cute hair

  • GREAT Video...I have been hearing alot about this product. I went to the store to purchase today but I was so scepticol about paying $17.99 for it. I was like what if it dosent work...But looking at this Video let me see it works great.

That is alot of work though..lol just to do the application.

I will be buying this product. I will make a video also and send it to you.

Take care & thx. so much!!

  • I love love love your hair. I especially love the front because am going to get my relaxed hair cut maybe next month and I want my front to stand up like that. I do want my sides and back shorter. I am going to try that Miss Jessie's Kinky Curly Custard.

  • I like...I like!!!!

  • Omg! I abosolutely love love love your demonstration! Your hair turned out awesome!! i am goign to buy this product and try it.. hopefully it will work for me just like it worked for you!

  • I LOVE HOW YOU CANT SEE THE LENGTH UNTIL YOU PUT IN THE PRODUCTS. I KEEP HEARING BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT BUT, I AM NOT WAIVERING IM ON MY WAY TO WHOLE FOODS IN AN HOUR! THANKS MA, YOUR HAIR IS HOT!

  • !!Thanks alot, I just cut my locs offs and my Aunt picked up the KC products for me but we had no idea how to use it. I can go back to my office job with pride now. Much love

  • Hi, I have tried to gt this kinky curly to work and I just can't figure it out. Maybe its not for me. My hair is quite odd as it looks like a complete cotton ball but my hair on top will not shrink up like the back and sides so when my hair dries (when not using kinky curly) I look like I have a fro hawk. My hair doesn't have a curl pattern at all and maybe thats why it wont work. Im just lost as my hair has been natural for about a year and is a little shorter than yours in this vid.

  • I've been looking for a way to achieve this look and you have helped me do just that. I love your video thanks for making it. You are awesome.

  • very cute. must try this. thanks for sharing

  • thanks for the demo. on the KC website the model has long hair which i cannot relate too. i've tried other products and i've found that i don't know how long it takes to dry! i try to get up in the morning but i don't know how much time to a lot. my hair is only a couple inches long but really thick. i have tried ms. jessie's but it still looks like a dry fro when it dries...

  • But how long does it take for your hair to dry? If I have to do this before work, how much time do I need before I step outside?

  • Wow, that looks great!

  • Omg I'm sooooo happy I found this video today!!! I tried kccc twice & I hated it...I tried your method today and my hair looks GREAT! it's soft not sticky & very bouncy! I LOVE it <3 & it didn't take long to dry either because I co-washed with a glycerin free conditioner. There is definitely a right and wrong way to apply kccc. Thanks chica :)

    xoxo

  • Totally cute. That does look good.

  • I love it! It looks fabulous!! I'm looking really forward to using this product.

  • your hair grows fast

  • Curless in Indiana...can somebody tell me if KCCC would work on my partially relaxed hair. Transitioning, but not ready for the big chop. Thanks

  • Thanks so much for sharing. I started using the KT & KCCC this past week. I'm still trying to figure out how much to use and dealing with stringy heat damaged hair in the front. Your videos are VERY helpful.

  • Love It :D I've had my products for two years and just didn't know how to use them properly, and was afraid they wouldn't work on my hair texture. My hair is about your texture, so I'm going to try this soon! Thanks^^

  • do u wash ur hair everyday?

  • you ar realllly pretty. curly hair works for youu

  • have you ever used come clean shampoo?

  • Wow, your hair looks great! I just got the KC products and I hope it comes out just as well. Thank you for the great tips! Very helpful vid!

  • Thank you soooooo much for sharing your technique! I just tried this for the 1st time today. I love the way my hair looks, but hate to way it feels...sticky and goopy! Yuck!! The site says this is caused by the hair being too dry at application, but my hair was sopping wet when I applied. I think I applied too much...like you mentioned, I put gobs of it on my hair. I'm going to wash it out and try again tomorrow following the steps that you have taken....btw, your hair looks great!!

  • Do you rinse out the VO5 before applying the curling custard?

  • Cute!

  • Thanks...great video

  • Omg, the end results are beautiful. I might have to check out the KCCC now, thanks to you. :-)

  • UH-Maze-ING! What hair type are you?! I have absoulutely NO CURL PATTERN! Im a 4c hair type. Can you help a sister out?!

  • Ahhh nice finish!

  • this is too cute

  • i like that it doesnt look like a jericurl thats my main concern

  • How long will that kinky-curly style last? or do you do this process single day?

  • Thanks for the tutorial. My results (first time) were super crunchy, uber sticky and amazingly shrunken. I'll try it your way!!! Great results!!!!

  • Your hair is beautiful! I'm six months into transitioning but am excited about my options! How often do you have to do this process?

  • Hi! I have been natural for 6 months and recently heard about kinky-curly product line. I have been using Carol's daugther hair milk for the last month, I think I will try the curling custard next! Your curls are so well difined!!

  • Would you suggest this on kids? I have a daugther who is 3 and I really want to try this on her.

  • I love this...my volume is not working properly on my computer, so I couldn't hear you. Can you PLEASE tell me what I need to get my hair to do this. I just recently did the BIG Haircut and my hair is only about 2 - 3 inches.

  • Love it and I'm going to try it right now... as in... my hair is soaked from the wash and I'm about to try it RIGHT NOW! Let you know how it goes!

  • Thank you so much! I love your videos. You hair has grown. My mom has had a perm for years. When I say, "Years...," I mean years. She is now natural and looking for alternative styles. Well, I shared your videos with her last weekend. We had a great time deciding if we should try the wash-n-go or the Kinky Curly.

    Thanks again!

  • That turned out Beeeauuutifull chica. I will definately try that. I Dont think that my hair will dry like that tho. I have random corkscrew curls, combined with paches of frow. Are you following me?? I saw yours before u applied the product, but could tell if you had the same issue at hand.

  • Thank you! I am feeling you. My hair is one giant cotton ball. I have loose waves bu they don't clump at all so it just looks like a cloud or cotton. It on;y clumps and curls with a gel product.

  • Yayyy....Lol then theres hope. Cause, mine will do the same with a little gel product. I just hated havin that gunk in my hair. and the KCCC didnt seem to leave that in urs, so yes, i will definately be trying this. you're talkin to an ex product junky. Lol. Thank you.

  • i thought i was the only one like that my hair is so many textures its ridiculous!

  • Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! I can't say it enough!! I did my KCCC exactly like you did and guess what.... it worked perfectly! Again Thank You, God Bless You.

  • You looked absolutely beautiful! Your hair was fabulous! Simple instructions and great tips, what more could a natural girl ask for? Thank you.

  • GREAT RESULTS!!

  • that is CUUUUTTTTEEEEEE chica!!!! Do u have any tips on doing that to a twa?

  • Ok I tried this, but i think I messed my hair up because it get soooo poofy... I comb through it with a wide tooth comb.

i going to try it again it finger thru my hair instead of combing... but it sooo thickI cant get my fingers through even when it's sopping wet

  • Combs can sometime break up your curls so finger combing it best. You need to detangle your hair all the way with a wide tooth comb or denman brush before you apply the product on sopping wet hair.

  • I used the kinkey curly for the 1st time last week the 1st time i used it my hair came out sticky and it didnt dry not at all it was still wet in a woke up i was POd cuz this product is not cheap but then i looked at your video and the grow black hair video and i tried again it came out nice the 2nd. def somthing you have to figure out to use should come with a book of direction lol

  • omg i loveeeeeeeee Kinky Curly!!!!!!! Ive got some...im transitioning to natural right now..but i feel like my roots, they look alot bouncier and just behave better with the kinky curly...when i use the curling custard..i put it on a braid out since it doesnt work well on my relaxed hair not really..i cant wait til i cut the rest off for the wash n go look!! and i got the vo5 moisture milks passionfruit milkshake or whatever...mmm love it :D thanks for the vid

  • I love the way your hair came out. I usually do twist outs but this looks like a great substitute. I just inherited some KCCC and am about to try it. Thanks for posting this video. Stay blessed.

  • Thanks for the vid this is how I finally got the KCCC to work for my hair.

  • I tried your tips and they work!!! Thanks sooooooo much.

  • Your hair look so nice! How long did it take you to get to this length in the video from when you cut it off? I will try this process. I have to purchase some knot today and purchase a new conditioner with no glycerin. I am gonna try the one from the video, I have a Walgreens down the street from my house.

  • Very pretty... I wanna go natural =(

  • @8:11 Shake it Girl Shake It LOL...I'm going this weekend to pick up some KCC I am so excited I usually wear a picked out afro but its time for something new

  • ur hair came out very cute. I love ur hair. I just put some kinky curly for the 2nd time on my hair so hopefully it will come out cute.

  • I like the fluff routine. I like the way it came out too. Very nice.

  • your hair looks fab but it doesnt look like my hair type (which is an extremely dry and brittle 4a/b - I think). I'm tempted to try KCCC but I'm tired of spending money on hair products that never live up to their promises.

  • I just love ur hair, its about the same length as mine. I am so happy I saw ur video, cause there are days I just dont know what to do with my hair. I cant wait to try kcc, thnx

  • ur hair is beautiful.i am transitioning too n i cant wait to try kcc

  • I've watched some other KCCC product review videos and alot of the girls said that it left their hair crunchy. Was your hair crunchy as well? Maybe your results came out different because of the choice of conditioner...

  • I love it! I have kinky twist in now to give my hair a break until the new year, but Im gonna order the KCC so i try this style... It looks absolutely Amazing... your make up is very cute at the end too..... I tried MJ's stuff and it was awful. Thanks for the vid!!

  • very nice!

  • im a professional natural hairstylist and your putting too much in your hair because its super concentrated.

  • I know I'm like wayyyy late on the video but I just had to comment. Your hair looks amazing! The curls are so well defined and another thing I like about your videos as a whole is that you're so informative and knowledgable. You always take time to give details as well as educate. I appreciate that!

  • Im transitionin dying to buy it and try it but I am only 3months into transitioning andstill have a lot of long relaxed hair lefy so all Ivebeen doing is braidouts with sum miss jessie curly buttercreme, but I really want to have hair like urs in the video already-so tempted to cut it off and be donewith it after watching this:)!! Have you always been natural? If not how long did it take you to grow your hair like this and what prouducts and methods did you use to transition and why did you do it?

  • what hair type do you have? i have extremely kinky hair and heard that this product does not work on hair like mine. anyone have any experience with a kinky hair texture?

  • I love your hair, I also use kinky curly custard. It was to hard the first time, but I will try you technique when I take down my finger coils. Have you finger coil your hair and if so how do you maintain it.

  • Aww thank you! My hair is deceiving, LOL my strands are fine but I have tons of them densely packed so it makes it look thicker than it is.

  • It looks so GOOD!!

  • I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!! My hair type APPEARS to be similar to yours, so I hope it is so I can have similar results!!

Your hair was beautiful!! How long did it last? What about the next day?

  • I was able to get 4 days out of that one style. Check out my video "Reviving Curls with Water" to see how I revive it daily!

  • THANK YOU for this... I bought some kinky curly yesterday and I'm going to try this RIGHT NOW!!!

  • Your hair turned out very cute but I prefer not to use enough product to have excess this stuff ain't cheap but it won't curl my natural 4c hair anyway! Cute style tho

  • So you put in a decent amount of the Knot Today and a little bit of the Curling Custard. I had it the other way around. Thanks for the video

  • super cute..all these vids are making me wanna take my braids out so i can try the kc again..cause currently i suck at applying it..do you think it matters if i dont use the knot today?

  • Beautiful Beautiful hair, Girl you got it!!!

  • My hair is course. I guess the type is 4c. Do you think this will work?

  • @Sheabutterr I have 4c hair and it WONT curl I just spent almost 60 dollars on this stuff and it wont work not one curl not one time!! Good luck!!

  • Very cute!! This style suits you very well. I just had a stylist use KCCC on my hair for a rod set. It was fantastic. BUT, where I live is very humid. As you said, KCCC does hold up with excess moisture. It frizzed/poofed up on me in less than a week. I don't know if i want to buy it yet or not. Great tutorial.

  • our hair is gorgeous! How long have you been growing your hair

  • Yes it is!! I am 1 year and 6 months natural.

  • SUPER CUTE!

  • very nice demo. your hair looks fabulous.

  • Wow this is really pretty!!

  • How hair looks great! I am sold on buying the Kinky Curly Custard. Thank you.

  • it looks good.

  • Your hair is gorgeous...keep the vids coming!

  • LOL yeah you need a camera cause I wanna see!! I am glad you figured it out.

  • nice video. hair and makeup looks great!

  • I will try this product. I have 4c COTTON head. :)

Your curls were soo pretty. I will have to get this product thanks for the tutorial and keep more coming please.

  • loovee ur vids!! i have a TWA right now...been natural for about 4 months. I have a fotki account..not sure if you do too..if so, look me up ..NATURALOVE..is the screen name. anyway..lol..could i get the sam results on a TWA with KCC?

  • The KCCC works pretty well on all lengths. I used it after I first BC'd with great results, check it out, it was an older video. That should let you see the results I got when I had shorter hair like yours. I do have a Fotki account but I haven't updated in a long time. I will look you up though.

  • Oh wow, thank you! I don't get to many men watching my vids by I am grateful that it has helped you. LOL 6 foot lolly-pop, that is cute! I am sure whatever way you choose to wear your hair it will be a thing of beauty just like any head of healthy natural hair. Thank you again for watching!!

  • hi i have been transitioning for about five to six weeks now and i would like to know what is the that you like the for your hair

  • I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean. Could you retype?

  • thank you so much for the info

  • im natural and i have like the worst grade of hair so do you think this will work on my hair or will it just make it frizzy and fro like instead of curly like yours?

  • WEll my hair is like a giant frizzy cotton ball with little to no definition until I apply the gel to it. Do you have small coils are gibber spirals or waves to your hair? Does your hair curl up when you wet it or wash it? You don't have bad hair, you just have to find the right products and techniques to work for your hair type. I wanna help you do that if I can.

  • well when i wet it or wash it i have tiny spirals but the way my hair is i can't just do a wash in go if i just let my hair air dry it turns into a fro so i have to twist it every nite so i wondering if the custard would work on my hair i have a weird hair grade i watch alot of these videos but nobody has the same texture as me

  • Yes the custard would work on your hair. I have a cottony texture as well and it works wonders on my hair!! IMO I think you would be happy wiht the results.

  • this was awesome!!! thank you for the tip!!! I am going to try it first thing in the morning ... :)

  • Oh wow, thank you!!

  • Your hair looks so cute! This make me want to grow me hair out again. Right now I'm rockin the low boy, but after this I might have to start growing it again.

  • That should be a nice change for you! It's nice to be able to rock it short and then long and still look hot. Natural hair is just that easy! I am sure you'll look good either way!

  • thats hot! it looks really good on you :)

  • 4a mostly with a little 3c and a little 4b on my temples. Thanks

  • Beautiful!

  • Love it!!
