Bush of Republican Party is at his best to have McCain succeed in the coming elections. Barak Obama of the Democrat party is already ahead as regards convincing. But the irony is that Pakistan is being made the test lab for this purpose. As Bush having hardly 50 days left for the campaign, wants someone like Osama or any of his team members dead or alive to win the US Presidential elections. They have no idea where he is but Pakistan is being constantly bombed & destroyed to win US elections.
The Roman emperors provided bread and circuses for their people. The American empire does the same, though lately with less bread. They're making up for it in the circuses department. I'm talking about the election charade.
It's so sad to see otherwise intelligent people falling prey to this circus.
The election campaign is big business. It's good for the economy. So this will go on.
Terrorism hasn't been defined or explained yet by any presidential candidate. Whether they call it going against USA or standing against injustice. None of the US leaders has so far defined or explained this word.
The irony is that those candidates quoting for destruction of Pakistan & its nuclear assets are being encouraged. But no sincerity in solving the Kashmir Issue, the basis of Pakistan's becoming a nuclear power is being shown. The U.S citizens also seem to have their eyes closed on the issue. Or they are not being updated as currently the Iraq and the Afghanistan Issue is not being shown as a true picture.
Media sells you the candidate puppet, american's buy into the puppet. Nothing changes, americans get mad, media sells new puppet, americans vote for the puppet again...americans get mad...nothing changes. The End!

Now, I'm not against a woman or a black person becoming president, unfortunately, when all is said and done, I just don't see Hilary or Barak doing it.
WHY JULIANY KEEP SAYING ISLAMIC ISLAMIC ISLAMIC TERRORISM? that CUNT must know that terrorism is terrorism, and terrorism can be from any religion. hey AmeriCUNTs please VOTE RON PAUL
you mean those written by the "Ghostwriter" without author and the misquotes?:) People love making every issue in this country about race. Another part of the big brainwash to devide and you fall for it.
I'm voting on issues, and for me, the only one who is right on ALL the issues is Dennis Kucinich.
John Edwards talks a good game about being against corporate control, but his voting record when he was a Senator just doesn't match his progressive rhetoric.
"We don't think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That's true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such."
we have no time for these petty misquotations. The Country on a whole is at stake and the America you once knew is in it's last term before the New World Order is firmly in place. RON PAUL!
"Given the inefficiencies of what DC laughingly calls the criminal justice system, I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."
That quote is taken totally out of context! Ron Paul is accusing the criminal justice system of assuming that 95% of black males are criminal. He is against institutional racism. You've taken it completely out of context to say the opposite.
thank you...i've been looking for a way to directly confront ron paul supporters about their psycho candidate. why don't these same people support Kucinich? he is just as anti-war as Paul, but he also has much more to offer in terms of common sense. Paul is a right-wing nutcase who happens to be against war, that's all.
The biggest problem with Ron Paul (and the Libertarian party) is that the power vacuum left by the castration of government they propose will be filled by corporations.
This would be only slightly better than now (we have corporate welfare, but leave people out to rot). But it wouldn't last, because where there's money, there's influence.
It will also open up corporate control of our private lives, monopolies, union busting, low wages, low benefits, environmental disasters, Enrons-a-plenty and the general ignoring of anyone without much money.
The only answer is a well-regulated capital system and a wide, indiscriminate social safety net. It works in all the other richest countries in the world, but it's been hampered here by corporate money.
corporate interests need money, our money. That's why people can have an effect on them through the choice we have of what be we buy. Sadly, no one believes it, and would be hard pressed to spend a bit more for a product which is not made by an oppressive corporation. Mostly because we don't know the good from the bad and do not exercise our economic powers.
I suspect your correct, but Thompson has the support of a larger consensus of the media and RNC. Which means when looking at the international information available - Fred gets higher billing I think.
"Birthright citizenship, originating in the 14th amendment, has become a serious cultural and economic dilemma for our nation. . . . We must end the perverse incentives that encourage immigrants to come here illegally, including the anchor baby incentive."
-- Ron Paul (who is supported by white supremacist groups)
Sgelles, stop making up your own quotes for Ron Paul. If anything even if he has the support of racist groups he will have the power to re-educate the ignorance and the group labelling that HE ALWAYS TALKS ABOUT being the cause of racism!!

Why is this on AlJazeera?
Well, at least it's better than calling Israel a terrorist nation, which it isn't.

sgelles 4 years ago
Sg, your quotes are incorrect and out of context. If you want to see racism, merely look at the majority of the power elite.
The worst racism of all is economic policies that cripple those who have nothing.
Ron Paul wants to eliminate the IRS and return the US to a gold standard. Both things would raise the standard of living for all.
