nice work the harmony. The tempo should slow on hours - away. Gender change really doesnt work on this song, you turned it into a song about a lesbian liquor store robber and her young lover, but I understand the reason, the song is irresistable, if you love harmony you gotta sing it.

second behind the music is the integrity of the musician. Who would believe Bill Gates singing "I am just a poor boy...". John Denvers career tanked when people found out his 'wonderfull' marriage tanked, Manilows career tanked when we learned Mandy was really Man D. You cant just sing the song, you have to sell it, people have to believe it, or it wont take. Again, excellent job on the harmonies.

@Notultimate No, and that was my whole point, the song does not work with a woman singing it, any of it, sleeping next to a naked female lover, holding up a liquor store with a gun, it would take some really creative work on the lyrics to change this into a song about a woman. But again, she did an excellent cover, and the harmony is irresistable.

I bought the strap about 3 weeks ago. I just had to have it because of my love and respect of the Beatles. You did an excellent job with the vocals. They were haunting and the harmonies were right on!! Please do not think my version was better than yours. We each have our own way of interpreting a piece of music. When you play from love ,that is what comes through. That is what I hear in your music. Peace.
